@tehatemachine With all that said though, the F-15E is definitely m all-time favourite aircraft and I'm sure it's perfectly capable at air-to-air combat just as the F-15C is. It's just not gotten a chance to prove it, and hopefully it never will do either. The F-15SE looks like an interesting proposal. If you want to learn some basic stuff about the F-15C (how it's operated etc) you should get LOMAC, or IRIS F-15E on FS2004.
@tehatemachine Also, the F-15E achieved only one air to air kill up to now: a MiL Mi-24 Hind, on the 14th Febuary, 1991. There was one incident where an F-15E fired a missile at a MiG-29, but it failed to hit.
@SuperBomber01 Actually, the PAK FA isn't stealthy in the same manner as the F/A-22A is; it's got low observable front capability, while it becomes much more observable around the sides or back.
@tehatemachine That was an F-15D that landed with one wing; a training variant. The F-15C has never had a single loss in combat, but that's a single seat Air Superioirty variant. The F-15SE is an 'improvement' over the tandem seat multi-role F-15E, and two of them were lost by ground fire over in the Gulf war. Google it.
UAE our Air Force the Dowal Mjles al tawn the said that they will get the F-15SE & F-16IN Block-70 and we also order the F-35A from US & they sad that if that we gived them helps and things like that they will open sell for as a F-35A the same how it goes with the F-16F/E Block-60 Desert Falcon look we get it and i am really sure that we will get it because in 2007 everyone sad that the UAE will not get F-16F/E Block-60 and we get it :)
South Koreans should just develop their own jet fighter. They got the money, the brains & the technology.
WHY bother with F15, a FORTY YEAR OLD DESIGN now owned by Boeing, when ALL other countries are going with Gen3 StealthFighters??
This is almost AS IF in an alternate universe, Spaniard Conquistadors were to sell flintlocks to Indians, in 1910's, well after breech-loaded, boxed-mag cartridge ammo has been invented.
One, it's laughable, Two, it's insulting to the South Koreans.
@RosenKrantz666 don't even dis it. The F15 is PROVEN technology. NOT ONE has been shot down in combat. This thing owned migs and all other soviet machinery. and this is not like the old F15 it's a redesigned variant that is on ROYDS! more maneuverable and far stealthier.
@tehatemachine Actually, over its entire span of service, two F-15s have been lost in combat - attributed to ground fire back in the Gulf War in 1991.
@SuperBomber01 Cite your sources. I know you are full of shit. There was a case where another F-15 hit another f-15 by accident with a sidewinder during a training exercise. But even that one landed safely.
@tehatemachine All you need to do is Google F-15 losses and the best info site is at the near bottom of the first page. If you're referring to the F-15C, then I stand corrected as the C-variant is the one that was never shot down by an opposing force, as opposed to the Strike Eagle variant I was referring to. We're talking about combat losses, not accidents.
@RosenKrantz666 The South Koreans DO have their own jet fighter - the FA-50 Golden Eagles (fighter variants of the TA-50) are of Korean design and are set to mass production by 2013. They're also well on way in starting their own stealth fighter program together with Indonesia, specifically, the KF-X program. Until the KF-X program can produce a fighter set for active service, the ROK would need to buy up-to-date aircraft to keep up with its neighbours.
@RosenKrantz666 By the way, if you think the F-15's design is rather old, current designs like the F-16, F-18, MiG-29 and the Sukhoi Su-27 are also fairly old - not as old as the 15, but the gap is merely just a few years in between. In fact, most of the current 4.5 generation combat aircraft are just modified, modernized and heavily upgraded variants of 4th generation models.
@RosenKrantz666 Furthermore, there are no 3rd Generation aircraft that are stealth fighters. TRUE stealth fighters would be those such as the PAKFA, F-22 and in the later future, the J-20, Mistubishi ATD-X, F-35 and as I mentioned, the KF-X. Aircraft such as the Eurofighter and the F-18 Super Hornets have LOs but can't be considered real stealth fighters.
very funny video, F15SE intercept chinese jet fightrs then move to east sea to sunk japanese destroyers that bombing dokdo with CANNON then bomb north korean silos... but f15se won't win 3rd F-X
A bit provocative choice of music, sorry TDL, just my first impression. One could also be a little critical of Boeing's full-blown mission in this vid to solely go after and humiliate NK's military in raw, fairly non-artistic animated form. I would have suggested something more creative and original in the animated video choreography, actually with less combat and with more focus on the jet's ability to be respected as a deterrence, not just on war. Give F-15SE twin-IRST eyes in a new CFT.
Yes and its a good jet to use on the Korean peninsula because Kim Jong-Il's air force have out dated fighter air craft and this will lead the ROKAF, USAF, and JASDF as the dominant air forces over the skies of North Korea.

Some of the best value for their money the Koreans could ever hope to obtain, short of being allowed to buy F-22s.
