I lost my son Zachary on 09-05-10. Just one month exactly his 25th Birthday. It will be 18 months on March 5, 2012. This had always been my biggest fear to lose a child, because 5 years and 13 days earlier on August 24, 2006 my sister lost her 22 year old daughter. I saw her pain from a distance and I told her I didn't know how she could go on with such a loss, her sadness and pain. I said these exact words to her " I would curl up in the fetal position in a dark corner and never get up again"

I lost my twin sister less than a year ago, and I understand the pain that u are going through I am only 14 years old and she was the closest person to me. I succeeded and was on life support for organ donation. There was no brain activity they could find. When they came in to draw my blood, I'm told I shook my head no, and I eventually came out of it and knew I would never be able to do it again. It wasn't God's time.

My son passed away in a car accident on July 22nd, 2011. My husband and son ran out for dinner and some guy ran a red light (20 some seconds after it turned red as a matter of fact!!!) I take heart that I will be reunited with him one day but sometimes that just is not enough because I want and need him here with me. My family was lucky in the fact that my husband made it through the accident with serious injuries (every rib fractured in multiple places & both lungs collapsed) but he is ok now

My son's birthday is always a tough day for me. I celebrate it just like he's still here, it's my way of feeling connected to him - such as putting flowers on our church altar in his memory. Christmas is very tough because just like you, I lost him in December also. For christmas, I put up a christmas tree in his bedroom, and hang his "favorite things to do" ornaments - football and fishing stuff.

I lost my twin sister less than a year ago, and I understand the pain that u are going through I am only 14 years old and she was the closest person to me. I suffer from clinical depression and was in a very dark place before I lost her. She was my only reason for living so when she passed away I tried to kill myself many times and still do. I succeeded and was on life support for organ donation. There was no brain activity they could find. When they came in to draw my blood, I'm told I shook my head no, and I eventually came out of it and knew I would never be able to do it again. It wasn't God's time.

My son passed away in a car accident on July 22nd, 2011. My husband and son ran out for dinner and some guy ran a red light (20 some seconds after it turned red as a matter of fact!!!) I take heart that I will be reunited with him one day but sometimes that just is not enough because I want and need him here with me. My family was lucky in the fact that my husband made it through the accident with serious injuries (every rib fractured in multiple places & both lungs collapsed) but he is ok now

This is very beautiful and heartbreaking. I lost my son when he was 18 months old over 30 years ago and you describe it in accurate details especially when you say I will miss you until God send for me . My son's birthday is always a tough day for me. I celebrate it just like he's still here, it's my way of feeling connected to him - such as putting flowers on our church altar in his memory. Christmas is very tough because just like you, I lost him in December also. For christmas, I put up a christmas tree in his bedroom, and hang his "favorite things to do" ornaments - football and fishing stuff.

What a beautiful song. My heart breaks for you, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my beautiful son at birth in 1999 and since have gone on to have a precious child who I love more than life it's self and could not imagine life without him. I know that one day we shall all be reunited with those we have loved and lost but until then know that you are in my heart and prayers. From one mom to another - your son lives on in you.

I lost my mother when i was 3 years old and the sad thing is she died with her hand in mine.After that my father ran away.My little brother died right after he was born.I lived with my grandfather and grandmother who i owe everything ! I love them and even though i still feel and emptyness inside of me i remember that still there are people who care :)

i lost my Nana 6 years ago she was my best friend still not over it i will never be i never got the chance to say by and this year my Granddad died og brain cancer and for 3 months i had to watch him dieing and im only 17 hardest thing ive had to do not been able to do nothing hes my hero and my brothers girlfriend lost their baby at 7 moenths pregnant and yesterday mu auntie brenda died of cancer i miss yous all so much R.I.Paradise My Beautiful Angels Sleep Tight I Love You All So much

Only those who have experienced tragedy can truly understand death and the hope that will come to them when they are called upon to leave this life and be reunited with the one they lost. As I was thinking about my dad today that thought came to my mind and I wanted to write it down. I miss him today and always. I will love you forever.

same feelings here... i lose my bf two years din kami...nawala syakung kailan ok n ang lahat..sobrang sakit akala ko ko katapusan n ng mundo...kasi nag iisa sya sa mundo at walang katulad.....

I don't know HOW people go through the death of children. I only have one daughter and, if something happened to her, I feel like I wouldn't be ABLE to live through it. Everything about living would feel wrong.
