  • Diego Cera is also the builder who takes care of the world famous bamboo organ in Las Pinas - the only one of its kind in the world!! Diego Cera also restored the giant four manual organ at Manila Cathedral Basilica in 2006 - the largest church stationed pipe organ in all of Asia.

  • This actually sounds a bit like an adoration hymn I have heard called "Lord Jesus in Your Eucharist" - any comments as to exactly what he is playing?

  • @hartleymartin It is an improv on "O Sacred Head Now Wounded"

  • This organ sounds pretty nice, and got a well balanced tone, to it also. More so this is a portable organ!!!

  • wunderfull organ .

  • The first instrument is the Noack at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, Seattle.

  • Yes, that is correct (the opening sequence), you must have been there with your Organ Building.

  • Indeed, being a builder here in Seattle I know pretty much all of the instruments of any significance.

  • so does it have a full pedalboard? I assume that it is coupled if it does.

  • i can play the pipe organ. i need a pipe organ that small that has all base and real pipes and not reeds! keep me posted if you find any for sale

  • My church in Tallahassee has a really amazing tracker with an almost identical sound. It was built by taylor and boody organbuilders. It cost the church around 600,000 dollars. It is larger though.

  • What a beautiful pipe organ, thats really a jewel, this pipe organs are very exclusive and very hard to find, really an art instrument I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! HI FROM MEXICO FRIENDS

  • you can get them custom built now for about £200,000 pounds

  • Aren't there organ builders at least this capable in America? Why was it necessary to go to the Philippines?

  • The Diego Cerra Organ is of extremely high quality at a price that no American builder could touch.

  • @internationalartists That's right!!! :D

  • The organ builder in the Phil. we're all trained craftsman from Austria, I think they value authenticity as close as possible to the baroque and reneissance era. Beauty + good music = Diego cera

  • To be sure it's an impressive sounding little instrument with a lovely tone.

    I see that it is 4 stops;

    Gedeckt 8'

    Rohrflute 4'

    Quint 1 1/3'(B); 2 2/3'(D)

    Principal 2'

    $23,900

  • sk8er1979, almost certainly the reason the coupler action resembles the tracker type is because it *is* a tracker organ. Not all tracker organs have the console built into the front of the case. Notably many French symphonic organs such as those by Cavaillé Coll were built with detached consoles, and all of them had tracker action.

  • The pedal board is 30 note BDO type pedalboard

I am very proud of these instruments as they are the finest available tonally and cabinetry at an extremely reasonable price. There is a 2 manual 7 stop model available.

The cabinetry is solid wood--not veneer or pressboard.

  • Thanks for info! So it's not that much "renaissance"! That's perfect for practicing or repertoire playing, with stops avalaible in bass and treble!

  • Yeah! Nice Renaissance style! It is just sad we didn't saw the pedalboard, maybe just one octave of borrowing!

  • The pedal board was shown in the full video broadcast on TV in Seattle, NY State and online. This clip is a cut down version of that broadcast, highlighting most of the elements of the organ.

  • nice instrument
