Maybe its the camera? Not catching the sound correctly?

Try playing with all the sound settings on your amp and pedals and get a more Morello'ish sound :) Your tone seems to be too distorted bassy.

no offense, but as a person with no life and who spends time making covers of songs, I can't help but get annoyed by these statements. His hands are in the corresponding positions to what he's playing, and it clearly sounds different from the actual recording. No to mention the solo is clearly of his own making.

If it sounded IDENTICAL on all parts of the song, then yes, he'd probably be faking.
