  • @Melisafatsmellyskank your a fucking wanker

  • i live an hour from there... the floods were shit, thank god for me i was on holidays in NSW

  • In fact the death toll from these floods are much less then when these events happen in 3rd world countries, Im sure there was one in Sri Lanka around the same times and hundreds of ppl died it was hardly mentioned on the news. I think toll here was 22, with most of them from Grantham. Of course it was a tragerdy but relative it could of been far worse.

  • You can hear it in his voice

  • At least Grant Denyer shows he has a heart and cares , not like some of the useless parasites that whinge on here.

  • Grant Denyer cares for one minute, then he gets in his car to do the next story to once again "care". WHAT A USELESS CUNT.

  • @IamAwesomelyRadical your a useless cunt don't pick on him he's funny

  • @redbluegreen151

Wow - you are sad.... You actually think Grant Denyer is funny??? And I bet you think Kyle Sandilands is a nice guy. Seriously, just fuck off you sad sad sad fucker.

  • WTF!!!! are you people talking about?!?! It was a flood that killed so many people and lost so much homes, even until now they are still rebuilding! Why are the comments about PIGMY BOY, PAUL CHARLES DENYER, ACTING!?!?!

  • @Melisafatsmellyskank ... Your name says it all

  • @Beagleshp I feel the same as you. I love grant. I watch sunrise every morning & can't wait to see what grant will be up to that day. There's not many people on tv like him.

  • FUCK OFF DENYER

  • very good acting, deserves an academy

  • Mudchair16: Annoying or not, he is human and he has a heart. I've always thought that he is one of the most down to earth presenters I've ever seen. How do you think the people who lived through the floods will feel when they see your obnoxious comment on such a touching story? Keep such thoughts to yourself mate.

  • Thank you to all the people that shared our stories and broadcasted our situation. you helped us all out so much. words just cant describe it. We're not just a country, we're a family and we stick together through everything. thank you guys :')

  • Still an annoying cunt.

  • can't believe i was in this town 5 months after, and it looked so different..

  • Comment removed

  • ur not human if u didn't feel bad for everyone in crisis at that time

  • Little known fact: Grant Denyer is the cousin of serial killer and Frankston murderer Paul Charles Denyer.

  • @traphs

That's awesome, didn't know that. Thanks for the factoid.

  • @traphs Really?

  • @scotthosford you are a ass hole cunt stop stealing my air

  • I love reading the illiterate comments on this video and those people who seem to have not passed year 10 and are writing those comments are accusing other people of being dumb.

  • @woolford27 Completely agree. I know YT is an attraction for trashy people, but I can't believe the amount of keyboard warriors who think just because they have access to a keyboard that they can pontificate& spew their boganism ignorance. Assuming a network has the PERMISSION to pick up people and work as a taxi service? Where the fuck do these ignorant lower-class opinionated trashy people come from? I cannot believe the immaturity and the know-it-all KNOW NOTHING shit they spew. Its jealousy.

  • the worst thing about the internet: fucking idiots can give their opinions. usually you'd be down the pubs or harassing your families - now you think you have a legitimate voice because you can type.

  • what is it with you people - heroworshipping a fucking weatherman! get a fucking life - find someone who is intellegent and inspiring because of their acts, not because they can read a weather map: which SOMEONE else has interpreted.

    simpletons.

  • Seriously If you think you could've landed a helicopter anywhere in gympie with all the water that went threw it, then you're obviously not kept up with the times. Grant you are a legend, and an extremely compationate bloke. Keep up the good work mate. (Y)

  • helicopter would be more helpful than his show of emotion. the weathermans' world is intact. this lady showed more sophistication than he did - and her circumstances are a cruel twist of fate. the focus has been hi-jacked onto him and I hope he feels uncomfortable. it is not brilliant journalism. it is a self indulgent poorly executed series of statements with a question mark tacked on. why, who, etc & basing your next question on the answer is. on what do you base your gushing praise?

  • @bellaquavita I highly doubt every single news reporter in australia has their own personal helicopter. Yes, of course Grant was going to ask questions.....that's what he gets paid to do. What makes this video so touching is seeing how overwhelmed he was by it all, and the fact that he couldn't even complete his weather reading without choking up. He cared beyond his call of duty. How many weathermen/women have you seen do that on whatever grumpy-old-men tv station you tune into?

  • @shortandsweet16 where did you get that reply from??? of course he doesnt have a helicopter in his back pocket! the network does - but they were out being heroes.

  • @shortandsweet16 shut up. you are dumb and annoying. go beat up your kids. or get beaten by your husband or whatever it is you trashy people do imagine - admiring a fucking weatherman. do you read? novels? non-fiction novels? what kind of work you do? i bet you are not a professional. did you finish grade 8? a fucking weatherman - fucking hell. idiot.

  • @bellaquavita Gees bellaquavita, wtf is wrong with YOU? You are the one with issues. You're doing nothing but spew your ingorance and venom & abuse at people, thinking YOU have all the answers. There is no excuse for you nasty attitude or behaviour. You assume a lot of things. Assuming newscrews with choppers can just land anywhere & be taxi services for people when they need medical and police clearance, shows how simplistic, ignorant and immature you are. You know nothing, so shut up & grow up

  • @SalemSaberhagen1 so very amusing - I'm the one with the problem? You become defensive very quickly, which indicates a sore spot.. Anyway, I'm bored with this topic.

    bye

  • over-baked ham

if he was that moved surely he could have arranged for helicopter transport (the channel 7 chopper) to take her to her husband??

maybe rather than emoting he could have helped the situation ...

  • Its so sad :(

  • Such an emotional vid. we have floods here in the UK so I feel for all you people.

And for the lady (and daughter) who is so distraught about husband (and dad) in hospital, I wish you good luck and good news in the future. My heart goes out to you all... Jenny from Yorkshire, England. xx

  • wow grant.....i could tell in your voice that you WHERE struggling....its natural when the mind see to much destruction and death. i my self was almost on the brink of tears when watching it as well. its not everyday you see your weatherman cry....i am telling as a Australian that this was not fake....THIS IS GENUINE!!!

  • lord plz we ask u to stop the floods before it gets way worse save people from death and help us find the missing.

people plz donate to help us with the floods it would be very kind of u to do that

  • These floods make even the hardest of men weep. Stop giving Grant such a hard time. We appreciate it when a man can show his feelings. Well done Grant and the sunrise team.

  • 250 dead in Brazil floods. These journos need some perspective.

  • @OddThomas88

there was about 100 000+ dead (yes that many) in the tsunami that hit Bangladesh but it does not take away anything from this. This flood is our tragedy, this pain and loss is ours. Its not a competition. To be honest 1 life lost is is too many. And what perspective are you talking about? Who the fuck gives a shit about 250 in Brazil when we watched a fake war kill and maim near a million in the middle east? There are many perceptive. Cunt.

  • @OddThomas88 how would you like it if you were surrounded by YOUR people in that kind of condition? no matter if it's 15 dead or 250, we have suffered no less than those countries.

  • @OddThomas88 Your name says it all you are indeed odd. This is an Australian morning program, doing a story on the Australian floods to keep Australians informed about a crisis in Australia. Why do they need to be mentioning the floods in Brazil? Do you think they don't have any other news broadcasters in Australia? You are a fool. Of course people know about the Brazilian floods and that people many people have perished. You need to get some perspective. Good luck to the family in this video.

  • what a soft cock.

  • Biggest load of bollocks I've ever seen. Since when have a major channel give so much time talking about a bloke who has had a non fatal heart attack when there are confirmed 'deaths' caused by the floods. You can almost see Denyer trying to make himself cry and hear the producer saying "Grant, squeeze some tears out ffs" When that fails they decide to go for the old trick of 'breaking down' off camera and a colleague coming to the rescue. Grant Denyer, Champion of the dry eyed breakdown... Twat

  • @Rikster1111 Considering they've been on air for the majority of the flood time I think 6 minutes to talk to someone with an incredible story is reasonable.

  • Your a extremely humble man. Love you xox stay strong x

  • jesus..came to this country when i was 4, watched the tsunami rip apart my country on boxing day on tv and can't help but get emotional every time I watch the devastation faced by the people of Queensland. God Bless Australia, and God Bless Queensland, my heart goes out to all of you, from the people of Sydney and all across the world

  • @99elango

you've got to be joking. hundreds dead in Brazil floods, the Australian media haven't even mentioned them.

  • @OddThomas88 maybe because almost all of Queensland is under water .. an area the size of germany and france .. a whole state who have lost everything .. homeless .. running out of food in many areas ... many many now without jobs .. no warning was given .. not even a chance to evacuate .. the death toll is rising .. floods continue. Stop comparing floods and deathtolls to one another .. a life is a life u sicko. The journo is upset because he didnt give us warning he said everything was fine.

  • @OddThomas88

mate the Australian media's lack of attention towards the sheer magnitude of disasters that have destroyed countries like Bangladesh and Brazil doesn't take away from the pain and suffering the people of Queensland are going through. My heart goes out to EVERYONE, from the people of Haiti, Brazil, Bangladesh, Africa, China and millions of others who have suffered in recent years. People die, people loose homes, its a given, but that fact doesn't make it any easier.

  • @OddThomas88 WHat are you talking about, I've seen several reports about Brazil and sri lankan floods.

  • good on ya grant you cant help but cry, grant is where its all happening and seeing it 1st hand and iam in perth only seeing it on tv and iam crying my heart out! cant imagin being there in person! your a great guy Grant

  • Well done grant keep up the good work, pity bout some of the ignorant comments on here- seriously people grow up

  • if it makes him so disturbs why doesn't he bung her on the channel 7 chopper? what a tool.

  • @smokeyandthebandit10 What is it with you simplistic idiots? It ISN'T AS SIMPLE AS 'BUNGING' HER ON A CHOPPER, you stupid stupid FOOLS! There is police and emergency service personnel who co-ordinate choppers in and out of those areas, not to mention other commercial flights that can be affected by choppers. There's landing zones and securing of an area for a chopper to land/depart, there are SO many things to consider that you and that bellaita bogan have NO idea of. It is NOT that simple.

  • if it makes him so disturbs why doesn't he bung her on the channel 7 chopper? what a tool.

  • In a world which seems to prize keeping everything inside, it's refreshing to see someone who can just be honest, and accept that this is a horrible situation which has effected so many people. Further, that he can acknowledge that this effects HIM too. Real, genuine, and from the heart. Well done Mr. Denyer for being such a soul, and well done Channel 7 for the support it's been providing

  • @Ilikeordontlikevideo fuck you. heartless soul.

  • @CrackedPepper28 My balls... start sucking them. FUCKWIT.

  • @Ilikeordontlikevideo

your a sad soul posting this. grow a heart

  • @Ilikeordontlikevideo Probably the only way you'd get anyone to do that, is via the net. No wonder you're so frustrated and such a loser.

  • @Ilikeordontlikevideo Your a cunt! The thought of you makes me puke! I hope you die in the most painful way. Go fuck yourself you wanker. Nobody will ever want you.

  • Well done Grant- thought you were wonderful all things considered! :))

  • Well done

  • Grant Denyer what an amazing, kind & caring man.

  • Grant Denyer.... don't you dare apologise. You're only human. Proffessionalism and reality are one and the same. Take care buddy. If anyone knows about doing it tough, It's you. You've been to hell and back in your life. All the best

  • he's an amazing guy.

I Live in toowoomba and i'm glad to say i only suffered a small amount of flooding. Its truly a devestating sight to see, but the true australian community spirit is showing <3.

  • watching the news at 6pm and watching all day news on how this unfolded, it nearly brought me to tears. I had goosebumps every time i saw the destruction of the communities. :(

  • I live in toowoomba and these floods left me unaffected, but when I saw this it nearly broke my heart, you have no need to feel bad Grant, you are a weatherman not a force of nature, you are totally off the hook with me bud.
