Dutch people are very fond of fish and singing children's songs. That's why he combines them. In Holland this is quite common and you can often see this sort of fish-singing at weddings and funerals. When there are two fishsingers at the same party there's always the risk of a fishfight, where these big fish are used to slap each other in the face, while the crowd cheers and applauds. What's unusual here is that he uses a dead fish; normally they're still alive. Probably smells very fishy. Bah!

You should probably got to the Netherlands sometime and go to a wedding, and see how people behave there. Also, dutchmen aren't more fond of fish then any other country in the world.

well, guys - this (and some other vids) of Team Antonsen "Nederlandsk komiker", shows inspired by Wim Sonneveld do with the cliche's the Scandinavians do have about the Dutch. Pretty sharp, yet not hostile. Greatly done.
