  • Music sucks sorry video is good. Someone wanting to learn doesnt care anything about music.

  • Make sure your put the dirty linens into the hamper as soon as you remove them as to not contaminate anything, NEVER place it on the floor or their bedside table!

  • How about gloves?

  • heellppp where do the clean linens go, on the bedside table or chair or where? tommorrows my exam n im afraid if i get this. plz answer quick

  • ow first of all.. why i cant see this role play not wearing her gloves while removing the soiled linen... ???

  • we are going to have a return demo to our school.. and i wonder when my prof told us no need to remove the bath blanket.. but i suggest that i ges it's better to remove coz that is called bath blanket, and that is already contaminated from the soiled sheets.. so i better check bed making again and i found this.. so i finally have my answer so really need to remove it..

but ur video is very fast, then i ges it's also better when ur going to roll the soiled cloth directly to the laundry basket

  • Aren't you suppose to have on gloves?

  • @angileek42 u should wear a gloves when u remove a soiled sheets, and to prevent the spread of bacteria and also wash washing hands before and after is better.. :)

  • review instructions please....

  • @addy5125 that is very fast video.. and am not that content but the procedure is good., only to make sure the draping is always in proper...

  • I dont see it,,such as irresponsible bed making...

  • Remove dirty bedding first. then put clean ones in. The dirty ones may pass germs or fluids into the clean ones.

  • @rezeile92 so u should aware not to contaminate the clean sheets, at same time,..

  • Sweet, great for last minute healthcare skills assesment evaluation :D

  • Very nice, helpful to me (getting ready for Pa CNA test) just to see it in action, even if my instructions are different. I love the music, too too many dreary instruction vids in the world as it is. Thank you!

  • Not bad for a school project! The only thing I would have done differently is to wear gloves when pulling the soiled linens. You wouldn't want to get any nastiness on your hands!

  • why do you not wear gloves while stripping bed and I love you shoes

  • To YungHurache08 your're wrong in Michigan we cover them with a bath blanket not just the top sheet. I think u need to review how to make an occuiped bed.

  • what was the purpose of bath blanket??

  • @Imspcl65 Patient privacy - you're supposed to only expose what's necessary for the procedure being performed. Plus it keeps the patient warm.

  • Apparently posting TWO (2) notices at the beginning of this video didn't stop the stupid people from posting comments about what was missing. This wasn't a technical CNA training video! Pay attention next time.

  • Better than some videos I've seen on this skill. The pace of the video and the music helped. Making it quick and fun makes it easier to learn. Good job.

  • you need to tell the patient who you are and tell them what you are doing before anything else a nd make sure the side rail is up when rolling the patient towards the opposite way you are located but when rolling them towards you keep the railing down

but so far tjhis vid is good

  • These aren't the procedure so you can pass the American Red Cross test! Thanks for nothing!

  • it wasn't too detailed but it got to the point..this is a good review not something to intially learn off of. thanks! i have a lab demonstration on this today :)

  • Great video , it was really detailed, to be honest I think I learned more from this video then from my actual lab class :)

    good work :)

  • Out in Michigan we just keep them covered with the Bottom sheet and change it when we get to the new one.

  • and don't forget to put the call button within reach!! ;-)

  • whta's this song...i like it

  • thanks, youi forgot to check for the personal belongings. and wash hands

  • awesome vid! i liked it! make more..i need visual reviews! :)

  • I really liked it! You did a great job :)

  • I like the way you fast forwarded the video that was a great touch.

  • You forgot to mention that when you roll them to one side or the other make sure the side rails are up

  • Maybe he wants the siderails up! :P

  • nasty nasty you!

  • i like the video i am an allied health student and i need more steps then that like how do you put a crease in the sheets so it want have wrinkles

  • What song is this ?

  • Sorry, that last was for missrutty. I''m a male CNA and I work with women like her who always go off on a screaming irrational rant if you give any constructive criticsim.

  • By the way, all you are accomplishing with your insults (imbecile, outclassed by pig vomit) is proving to the world that you do not have the temperament to be caring for frail elderly people.

  • Your video is going to help me practice for my stat exam.

    Thanks so much

  • wow, i DID NOT think i would find this on youtube. Have a test tomorrow over this and it helped a lot. Nice job :]

  • I have fired more people with your attitude than you can count, even with both shoes off. CNAs who cut corners and say they will do it right when the surveyors are in the building always screw up under pressure when the surveyors show up.

  • Comment removed

  • You might notice that I did not say anything about fanfolding sheets. I was referring to your comment that you do not bother to do things "the way the state wants it done." CNAs in our facilities DO things the "way the state wants it done," or at least our interpretation of the way the state wants things done, and we have bins full of CNA applications of people wanting to work and only 8% CNA turnover in the last year . By the way, I don't actually fire anybody. I direct someone else to do it.

  • "Hide in closets and behind furniture." How melodromatic. Actually, all I usually have to do is glance into a room as I walk by to see people like you intentionally slacking off. People like you are all the same. They never ONLY cut corners in 1 or 2 minor areas. It always turns out to be a pattern of unnaccepable practice. And for the record, I don't actually recommend firing people for making a mistake or 2. The ones who get fired are the ones like you, with bad attitudes, who will not change.

  • Great videos. I had this one on my second skills test. I failed the first written and skills test, way too nervous. Passed the second one with 95% score on written and passed my skills as well. If you fail the first time, please don't give up, try again and if needed your 3rd (last) try. Best of luck !

  • Im a care assistant. this is very good. its best too do this with another Person.

Dont do this on your own!!

  • good video i will be taking the state test in 15 days so nervous

  • good luck!

just don't be nervous when you take the test. That is the most important thing.

  • test

  • COLLLLLLLL very creative and educative

  • Miss Kriss, regardless of the missing pieces, this rocks!

  • interesting...i am a CNA instructor...video is informative but this needs some corrections. handwashing? body mechanics?

  • Hello, my name is Chris and I am in the need of some input from the CNA community. My question is their a demand for male CNA's out their or should I look into another career field?

  • if you feel that is a right career path then go for it. I think there is definately a need for some male NAs outthere

  • would be better witout distracting audio

  • How about turning the sound off ;)

  • LOL I know. What an idiot I am

    John

  • absolutely

  • Yes, I am absolutely an idiot :-) Will go stand in te the corner for an hour now Thank you

  • I thought the video was very informative and creative. Good job you guys!

  • good job!!

  • This is much better than the other video I watched on making an occupied bed.

  • .,just ask.,wer is ur medical asepsis.,?if this is in the real situation, im sure ol of the microorganism would go to the nurse.,and theres a little bit problem for the procedure.! and please apply your body mechanics,.heheheh i just notice lang.,

  • nice job

  • i think it easy to understand the procedure..!nice job..!hihihihihi

  • ok naman ung procedure, d nga lang ganong pulido ung pagkakagawa, like ung pagpa-panfold or miter sa corners ng bed,pag-roll ng mga dirty linens, although nka fast forward cia, halatang minadali parin ung procedure, wag po kayong magalit ha :)

  • thats exactly how i was taught to do it in my cna class :D good job.

  • Love the video and music, what school did you attend, and what level nurse are you?

  • its not so detailed, had problems on tucking and rolling the clean sheets under the patient. buhoo

  • Read the description?

  • it seem this vids is done in urgent...can you upload another one with step by step procedure...not the short one...include the rationale please of each procedure..salamat!

  • Read the description. And no, I can't do another one because I don't have a bed, let alone a willing person to assist me.

  • thank you for this video a lot!!!

  • You have no idea how much this video helped me out. This was totally awesome girl! Thanks so much!!

  • Thank you! That means a lot :-)

    Have a good day.

  • thanks for the clip, but i do agree that it was kinda fast forwarded hehe, but other than that i thought it was very GOOD

  • Thanks. But like I mentioned in the description, this video wasn't intended to be for my CNA class. This was actually a "How-To" assignment for an English class and the maximum time allowed was 3:30. Sorry for the fastness, but I do hope you can understand. Thank you though for the compliment.

  • You are going way to Damn fast. It gives me a headache. Poor taste of music.

  • thank you for posting this great and informative video.

i will start my clinical next week and it help me a lot!

  • How come the lady, making the bed, is not wearing her gloves?

  • yeaa i have to do this for a competition this saturday && i have no idea how to do it lol

  • This is really awesome and thanks for posting this!!

  • I can't Miter for shit!!!

  • me either!!

  • good video nice music .... to bad we can't use fitted sheets for our test :( and we have a lot more steps to do ;)

  • do you have to change gloves when you start dealing with the clean linens or no??

  • you don't need to wear gloves in the first place, unless the linens are soiled. that's when you use the gloves and protective pad. after taking off the soiled sheet(s), while keeping the patient covered with the bath blanket, you then wash your hands and deal with the clean linens.

  • Sayang lang ang pera ginamit para sa pag edit honestly so stupid ang video sa start palang di na tama!!! ang bobo ng ng gawa dapat prepare the materials as you are to use them sorry poor!!!

  • I just started CNA Class and I will have a test on this skill tomorrow. This video is really Great. Thanks

  • Lol i am doing this in shop... except i have been doing it like 50 times a day... lol

  • Don't forget the toe pleat!!! :)

  • wow!!its great...

  • Thank you! :-)

  • Is there a good video anywhere on how to make an unoccupied bed?

  • I'm in a Health Class for DSW and we're learning how to make beds. This is a whole lot easier! But what about contamination with the sheets? Shouldn't the clean ones not be touching the dirty ones??

  • Yes, you are entirely correct. But keep in mind that I did this video for an English process/analysis demonstration. I did not want to add excess information that non-health students would not understand. :-)

  • Ah I gotcha! Good Job Nonetheless :-)

  • it really doesnt matter if thats the patients only bed meaning she only uses the bed. her own germs nothing that she is gonna get

  • The principle is "Dirty to dirty, clean to clean." In her case, the clean part of the old linen touched the clean part of the new linen:-) She did it correctly dear.

  • Whoa this video makes the medical profession look more appealing!

  • The first step should be remove the pillow. With that rest will be easier (and the dirty pillow won't have contact with fresh sheet). But the rest you do is OK :)
