  • I'll bet after 30 minutes training these fellas would be better archers than most Olympic hopefuls in the U.K. lol. Can remember when I was a child my gran taught me propper table etiquette as well, for some reason I still do some of it, like leaving the knife and fork on the sides of the plate when you haven't finished and in the middle when you have. Brought back a few memories.

  • I cannot understand the negative attitude towards the upper class. They were just as friendly as all the others. I think it is anti-snobbery at it's worst. They don't appear to be nasty people just because they can annunciate.

  • i find it very telling how 'sir' humphrey had to think thrice before finishing his sentence during the instruction on eating cutoms of the upper class british peerage clique....he wanted twice to say this guy is from a foreign land or this guy is from mars and settled on saying a place we dont want to know which i find to be utterly dictionary of upper class everywhere in which there is class on earth, identity is built on exclusion. how very different from time spent with ray and ian previous.

  • the look of that guy`s face at 1:20 is just priceless:DD

  • This Sir Humphrey fellow is definitely charming and friendly! I feel bad for him that he seems to have live in such an antiseptic environment, surrounded by all people cut from the same cloth as he.

In contrast, Ray is a working man, but he has the wealth of being surrounded by people of all colors and views. It seems the most fortunate of all these people is Ray!

This series has a lot in common with Orwell's "Road to Wigan's Pier" and "Down and Out in Paris and London."

  • damn they are good archers

  • these guys have mad skills with the bow. check out the kill shots at 4:30

  • Regarding dining etiquette, the positions of the silverware are shown for wanting more and for when one is finished with that course, but what is the position for indicating that one is not finished, but that he/she does not want more?

  • when you want no more, you place the silverware on your plate across each other, in the shape of an X.

I learned this from a Koori friend in Australia!

  • Do these men ever get to meet Prince Philip??

  • yep off cam

  • i thought the middle class people were posh :P... no ime not a chav XD

  • @fecto3210

I thought the 'working class' people living surprisingly well for filthy Mancs.

  • upper class life...boring lol! i think these guys has a lot of fun in the working class family.

  • haha when he is talking about black tie ediquate he is tip toeing around a better way to say "if an englishman doesn't know the rules we know he is below us"

  • i noticed that too.

people with noses in the air like that need a kick in the face to bring them back down to reality.

  • these guys should run the world!=)

  • They are direct and so cute.

  • After seeing this clip, I realized I am glad that I'm from the Working class...

  • to right agency.

  • Working class is the best class mate.
