There is something to grilling that is almost therapeautic.

    He forgot the beer!!!

  • Yes Sir!

  • DON MAKE ME HUNGRY PLS!

  • lol..... i just finished having some. Used my George Foreman Grill and leveled it off so the juices couldnt run out! Wish i grilled them on a Charcole Grill tho. still came out good! XD

  • dis red neck mofo knws hw to grill

  • I could listen to this guy describing how to make Cap'n Crunch, and it would sound appetizing.

  • Nice video.... I LOVE rib eye! Now, a question for BBQPITBOYS: so after searing the steak for 1-2 minutes on each side, all that is necessary is to throw the steaks on the other side of the grill (under which there are no coals) so that INDIRECT heat takes care of the rest?

  • two words...yum-my

  • cool. I love steak.

  • Hi, I will be having a large bbq next month. We will have ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs. etc. If I were to have steak, what cheaper cut (and in price) would you suggest for roughly 200 people?

  • hey hydeparkmac, wow...Cheap but tender steak is hard to find these days. But if you buy a rib roast ask your butcher to cut it up into 1 to 1-1/2 inch steaks and you can save some $ (most butchers will cut it for free). Round steaks are cheaper but not real tender unless you heavily salt them with cooking salt for up to an hour, and rinse off the salt and surface moisture and dry just before grilling. This will tenderize the meat by breaking down the proteins and fibers. success -BBQ Pit Boys

  • BEST VOICE EVER LOLLLLLLLLL

  • awesome

  • looks good and all, but reading the responses to the comments, y'all boys sound a bit on the defensive side.

  • You should only flip the steak once. And his grill marks are very bad. Whats with the tomato? I also herd the using a steak pick lets out all the juices. And you should let the steak rest for about five minutes before cutting it, and whats with the way he cut it. Very unprofessional.

  • Oh, Ooh...the Steak Police have arrived....assuming alot with little substance, since we don't remember ya being here when we shot this vid. But then again, you probably never grilled a steak on the open flame before. -BBQ Pit Boys

  • steak should be served no more than two minutes after coming off the grill.

  • amen....!

  • exactly. Who wants to eat a cold steak?

    Get it HOT! And SIZZILING

  • Really? sounds like a touch of jealousy to me...he did a good job on the video, the way he cut it doesnt look like he was attempting to impress u, but just to show off the middle of the meat and how it was easy to cut through..and if u paid attention to the video, he cut the tomato up to munch on while waiting on the meat to cook.;P

  • The guy really does sound lke Rambo

  • THAT makes me hungry all the time

  • whats with moving the steak around so much and why did you cut the steak into pieces? thats just bad steak etiquette...and arnt you suposed to let the steak rest for a bit?

  • did you say steak etiquette? Ya mean like what the rich and privileged have, that kind of etiquette? Get a life, godlessdustin -throw some good steak on the grill, open a beer, and invite a few friends over for some BBQ -thats what we call etiquette around here!

  • Ahaha, My lovin aunt just passed away and she left me a whole freezer full of chicken, beef, and pork, and Man, Im tellin ya, this sunday, Im gonna spend ALL day grilling puttin some of your tricks to use.

And Im not gonna bring anything to drink accept for beer, just in case poeple get thirsty. ha!

  • /aggree's ;P this wasnt meant to be all fancy but just down home..

  • Are you KIDDING me?

    Steak Etiquette???

    What a joke.

  • omg!so nice!

  • "Damn, that looks good"

  • his voice sound like a Rambo

  • "I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want!" Rambo -First Blood Part II

  • I think this video could turn a vegan into a steak lover.

  • you said it brother God Bless America

  • hell of a good lookin steak there

  • you really shouldn't use a turning fork like that, piercing the meat gives a channel for the juice to travel through and thus out of the steak, best utensil to use is stainless steel surgical tongs.

  • A long "Steak Fork" as seen in this vid is often used by the grillmaster pros, but if not used correctly you can lose some of that steak juice! Thanks for pointing that out, and welcome to the Barbecue Web!

  • Oh yeah... Gimme summa dat meat, baby!

  • Awesome! It came out tasting like I was at a four star restaurant!

  • Looks like it's gonna be great. Thanks for the bbq skills.

  • Just finished your recipe that was really good Loved the onions I added mushrooms though

  • his voice kinda reminds me of that voice in the dukes of hazard..

  • that "voice" in the Dukes Of Hazzard was the infamous outlaw and country singer, Waylon Jennings!

  • ooh well.

    you sound like him alot.

nice rebeye steak you got there..

    looks good

  • Man those look delicious. I notice that after you handle the raw meat with your fingers, you use them to sprinkle seasoning (do you put the seasoning away for later use after you touched the raw meat) then after the meat is done, you took the cooked steak and placed it on the same cutting board that had the raw meat on it. Not to be a wuss or anything, but don't you worry about cross contamination? All questions asides, looks delicious!

  • Oh, Oh....Aunt Flo's back again. Now what do you think, Flo? Nothing better to do today than preach? Most viewers know proper food handling techniques, so the full bubble bath i took between video shots and the board washing ended up on the cutting room floor! Awesome Steak!

  • I'm goin' for right now!!

  • That looks amazing... I will definitely try this just the way you did it.. thanks

  • Lets plate it up.... I almost bit my monitor. summofabitch.

  • mai god, it looks great. true man food. extra onions and scallions plz.

  • wow

  • might have to try it this weekend!

  • Where do you get those knives? And where do you keep getting those vidallia onions from?

  • While the steaks look good I prefer to let a good quality steak to stand on it's own merit-just rub lightly with a good quality extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle them some kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper. And anyone caught using bbq sauce on a rib-eye, t-bone, filet mignon or porterhouse should have their steak eating priveleges permanently revoked!

  • We agree, and exactly what this video recipe teaches! Of course for many of us "steak and onions" is a given -can't have one without the other!

  • I am with you 100 percent, MickR55. And I'll also add that those who prefer well done steak NEED that barbeque sauce to mask the dryness of the beautiful piece of meat they ruined. Also, DO NOT apply pressure to your meat while cooking! This only squeezes out all that succulent juice.

  • Using charcoal is the best for steak grilling. Gas grills don't give that BBQ flavor. Its worth waiting for the coals to get hot.

  • We agree, doostoos1. Actually, many steak experts say that cooking your steak on a very hot black iron pan is best -the steak sears in its own juices. Searing your steak over hot charcoal gives you the same result in our opinion, if you use the method shown in this video.

  • Do You Guy's Want Rib's Or Steak's? Im Cookin!

  • Looks good, yes sir!

  • That looks REALLY GOOD

  • NOTICE that it is juicy & full of flavor yet it doesn't have globs of sauce over it. I really think that using BBQ sauce is cheating because it seems like they are trying to cover up some sort of nasty taste or mistake.

  • Great stuff man BBQ'n, Hey do we ever get to see your face. I hope that you don't look like Michael Jackson that would kill the whole show for me.HAHAHAHAHA

  • "Can you smell that?"

I only wish I could. Damn, I'm hungry!

  • i swaer this is a form of torture....im starving, without any chance of eating in the next 4 hours....and looking at this...

  • Nice work, however, you should use tongs to turn the steak instead of that whale harpoon.

  • It's called a steak hook. Great for working hot fires from a distance!

  • to many steps to do a piece of meat. i prefer some other cow cuts that not many countries do. and if you do that with real wood will give it a extra flavour.

you want a steak at 2AM?.. go to Argentina

  • I never knew that rib-eye could look like that!!! I'm starving just looking at this vid...

  • If you want to make a tender meat you could marinate the meat with abit of bicarbonate of soda. Not only does it made the meat tender but the bicarbonate of soda also causes the meat to absorb the marinate faster.

  • where can i get steak at 2 in the morning

  • LOL

  • I love steak

  • man those steaks look delicious my mouth is watering
