In Battlefield Bad Company 2, for example, gameplay was great because my squad was always playing tatically, minding our surroundings and stuff. In Battlefield 1943, I NEVER find my squad mates, they're always scattered around the fucking map, so it's basically every man for himself. Do you wanna know what happens when i play BF 1943 as a team player? I die, die, die, die, and so on and so forth.

We've got Steam (and Desura, but it's indie-oriented), and they work not only on Windows.

Xbox got only XBLA, and PS got only PSN. If you had problems with XBLA/PSN, it would be lot worse.
