During the education we should learn few emelantary things like writing, reading, maths, some history and how to make our won choices. Not gaind knowledge, but learn HOW to gain knowledge. Educated man should means wise men, but today it often means just person who spent many years in many schools, and are ready to live their life without thinking.

The problem with schools nowadays is not so much that they don't offer an education, but that they make it optional. To far too many kids, an education doesn't seem important. They choose not to work at it, and thus not to learn. So few even bother to listen to anything the teacher says. Those that are successful (unless they inherited, stole, or just got freaking lucky) are those that saw this opportunity and grabbed it with both hands. Education is the key to knowledge, and knowledge is power.

Of course, for a band like Pink Floyd it's not necessary to have school knowledge because they are rockstars and earn lots of money by just making music.
