I swear every single youtube pet video, no matter what it's about, there will be people screaming cruelty and abuse, even if the animal is just sitting there unrestrained and could leave whenever it wanted to.

People really need to learn to relax and rationally evaluate a situation before spouting caustic insults and criticism. For instance: think rationally, will playing an unamplified woodwind instrument in an open room hurt a dogs ears? No, otherwise they'd all be deaf from barking.

Our dog (half Chihuahua, half Rat Terrier) responds to my singing (opera), and sings along with great gusto...and once he starts, he continues with no further encouragement/stimulus from me. Dogs seek melody and expression just as people do. There's nothing "sad" about that.

He doesn't appear that fat. A lot of people forget that a Chihuahua CAN be as little as 2 lbs. (not very healthy size) and up to 10 lbs. and not be obese or fat. He is cute :)
