They really did this, huh? Wow. Amazing the money and fuel they'll put into selling more fuel and making more money. Although I could never help but wonder....does advertising really get people to buy more fuel? Seems to me like the only way to do that is to get people to drive more. It's not like most people choose a station based on what brand it is, so brand recognition is out. Most people go to where it's cheapest, or do it like me and just whichever is closest. So I don't get it.
Nice to see this from, Ferrari: The team that showed us what an F1 car looks like with a flaming tail that was usually dragging their jack-man for at least a few feet. Clearly they just needed air-support at the Grand Prix.
@Jarox101 lol... indy? yey lets go in an oval..... more skill in taking hairpins and accelerating/ braking zones imo. F1 developed ABS, TC, ASM, KURS, DRS... The god father of all motorsports.
@Jarox101 lol... indy? yey lets go in an oval..... more skill in taking hairpins and accelerating/ braking zones imo. F1 developed ABS, TC, ASM, KURS, DRS... The god father of all motorsports.
@Jarox101 Hahaha do they even still do Indy car racing?? Not sure I see the appeal of watching an attempt at F1 with substandard cars driven by substandard drivers on substandard tracks limited to a single country... If I were you I'd post things like that as opinion rather than fact ;)
@AydenMize They refuel Black Hawks at about 150mph I'm told. they run out of puff past 180 on a good day anyway, and an F1 car on a straight road will do that easily. There are 'making of' videos about this ad somewhere I think...
@AydenMize I know this plane is not a C130, but it appears to be similar. But a quick search said that the stall speed for the C130 was around 115mph.
@Mwmoran812009 Of course it's fake you fuckin' dipshit, it's a fuckin' commercial! When I started watching this video the first thought that popped in my head was "some idiot(s) are going to make comments that this is fake, because they think the rest of us don't ALREADY KNOW THAT. You fuckin' douchebag!
I'm skeptical, when refueling, a jet has to push against the nozzle, especially with a hose instead of a stiff boom. This ensures that the nozzle does not come out of the tube (whatever it is called on a race car).
Also the hole is at a 90 degree angle to the front end of the car and the tube running from the plane cannot twist 90 degree to be inserted. Also if the car were to push on it to keep it in it would pop out.
men, that is fake, the fuel place on the F1 car is on the side. That is not imposible, BUT if they realy do it, wen they edit the video they will show the moment of the tutch, Because is the most importent thing. In this video they show every thing and make it spectacular, but also they make every thing to ide that moment
YEAH THIS LOOKS LIKE A COOL VIDEO OH THATS AWESOME AN AIRPLANE REFUELING A CAR OH WAIT NO THATS NOT IT THIS IS JUST A VIDEO WITH A CAMERA MAN ON FUCKING LSD AND CAN'T HOLD THE FUCKING CAMERA STILL FOR MORE THEN 2 SECS SO THE AUDIENCE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCK THERE LOOKING AT
That's a Fairchild C-123 doing the fueling. It stalls at probably no more than 75 knots so they are more likely traveling at about 90 knots or so instead of the proposed 150 mph. From the camera angle it's still spectacular though.
nice...but can we get the windshield cleaned and four new tires too.....

it definitely is not a kc-130, which has four engines.
it looks like a c-123 to me.
