I'm also going to Iceland next year. Back when I first discovered Sigur Ros I had never heard Icelandic before. I've studied many languages, and I firmly believe Icelandic to be the most beautiful. I'm just traveling to Reykjavik and some of the scenic areas, but I really hope I can pick up some of the language while I'm there since I'm only a beginner now. I love when music can inspire you to better yourself and Sigur Ros is so inspiring.

Please, I have a whole group of friends, kinda countless to be honest considering I'm counting the people I've met on the road as well, that love this band. I'm from Houston Texas, so I doubt where you live is any more redneck or isolated. It's just an underground style of music played by a band that used to be underground themselves. Go to your nearest punk/indie/hardcore bar in your area and you'll find at least 10 other people who worship this band.

I was listening to this song with my five year old nephew, we didn't know what they were saying so I asked him what he thought the boy with the drum was saying.
