  • Whats the Flushing sound for?

  • @alcid34 In Japan, they were having a problem with wasting water because people (esp. women) were very embarrassed about any noises. They would flush the toilet over and over to cover any sounds so as to be more polite. In order to save water, most western toilets now have a fake flushing feature which you can choose the volume on. It is often set to stop when you flush for real or stand up. Some people think it sounds too fake, though, and still just flush for real over and over!
