All I have said is that Germans are not Nazis, which is self-evidently true - especially if you visit Germany. @bibhuna how am i ignorant? also, why do you believe and take seriously, so much of what you see on the internet? of course i know that germans aren't nazi's. germans make great cars and some of the best bits of engineering in the world. they've made a much bigger contribution to the world then many other countries even if their biggest contribution is the death of 72 million people caused by the wars they started. i know the facts so dont argue.

Since Germany became a state in the late 18th Century, they have started one major war - WWII. @ampthilluk where the Allies forced Germany to pay unreasonable sums of money in reparations to France, give up the majority of her army and, worst of all, forced her to accept guilt for WWI. Under conditions like that, people turn to extremist governments. In fact, for a time, the Weimar Republic could well have been overthrown by Communists. Nazism was just as much the Allies' fault as the Germans. But, considering that you 'know the facts', this is nothing new to you. Right?

@bibhuna yes i know that germany didnt directly start WW1 as it was a chain reaction from the assination of franze ferdinand. but they were the biggest force by far that fought against the allies and invaded parts of france of belgium. it was an unprovoked attack. that is why they take the blame. look at it this way: if you take germany out of the equation, then no WW1 or WW2. anyway, if you want to go into more detail then really germany didnt start WW2 because adolf hitler was austrian.

@ampthilluk Yes, if Germany wasn't there, WWI wouldn't have happened. But if Britain wasn't there, WWI wouldn't have happened. Same with Frnace, or Austro-Hungary, or Italy. By the beginning of the 1900s, you have two new states - Italy and Germany. In Europe, you have two massive powerblocks - the Triple Etente and the Triple Alliance. I'm not saying that Germany can't be blamed for WWII, because they have the major fault. However, it wasn't just them. And to blame WWI mostly on Germany ignores the preexisting diplomatic situation. If France had the chance, it would probably have invaded Germany itself. As for your last comment about Germany, that's too idiotic to dignify with a response.
