  • cool stuff to pontigribate by...whatever uva you come from, how ever many likas it its outside

  • @lsdmadman Thank you for finally allowing me to put a frame of reference on 'uva' and 'lika'.

  • Now this makes me want to cuddle with my guinea pig while listening to educational audiobooks...

  • Ace.

  • I wonder what happened to Teeva. She was a main character up until half way and then no one mentions her again. Hope she didn't die!

  • @CinnabonChan I hope that she survived too. She was nice to the main human character and treated him with love and affection even if she regarded him as just a pet. She like the other Draggs didn't know how intelligent the humans actually were and at least she didn't kill or even harm any humans and would likely never do such a thing......

  • @girlgarde Yeah, she wasn't perfect, but she was the only one who was actually sympathetic and kind to her human, even if she was childishly/unthinkingly cruel sometimes. I just find it annoying how she vanishes from the plot and no one ever mentions her again.

  • @CinnabonChan I find it annoying too to be honest that she's never mentioned again. About her bouts of unintentional cruelty to her human, I'll bet that when she learned that humans WERE intelligent beings that she felt guilt at how she treated him, I know I would. In any case, if I was a Dragg before the whole feud began and had a human as a pet, I'd treat him or her with love and affection. I certainly wouldn't be cruel to humans like many of the other Draggs were.

  • @girlgarde Yeah, plus she's the only other character besides Terre to get named, I swear, even the grandmother and the girlfriend don't even get named (or if they do I missed it.) I think she deserved some resolution to the plot. She's the only one of the Draggs that we see being decent/kind if pretty ignorant. She did save his life in the beginning after all.

  • It's the end?

  • @sucoskrotovocal it this

  • mind

    fuck

  • very good message in this film

  • Id tap grandma

  • Very interesting film. Creates some interesting thoughts and really does make you feel proud of being a human. Cause we are adaptable, and we are intelligent. But at the same time, not.

Nice film, even though I was very freaked out by it (mostly because of the draag's eyes... Freaky shit right there!).

  • @gordonfreemannr2 - More separatism? If the "humans"/Oms were reversed, the message would still apply. Do unto others.

  • cucumbers @ 0:46.

  • 2:58 monty python's foot of stomping :o

  • @randomman009

    Similar kind of animation

  • Jiri Trnka Studios??

    The Czech. puppeter yes!

  • My life has been changed.

I am so glad I saw this before making my "Top Ten Favorite Animated Films for Adults" I reluctantly had Felidae in there, but now its shot through the foot, and I'm putting this instead.

  • this whole movie legit freaked me out into sanity

  • 0:52 OH HOT DAMN

  • and I cly and I cry

  • we are still living in Pepperland

  • @kordinia

    It is very Yellow Submarine

  • How do you come up with such a story line, so creative, now I'm gonna listen to some king crimson...

  • lot of bollocks.

  • Awesome movie, Great music.

But I found the ending a little bit wtf! ( yes more wtf than the whole movie! )

I mean c'mon! They meditated to meet other beings and dance?

Also the spaceships looked like giant cocks. ( 2:30 )

  • I can smell the sageness of this movie

  • Desintegration ray is Roundup, Drags are europeen civilisation and Oms are the Jews ^___^

  • I know it was a complete mind-fuck for the Ohms to find out that the Drogs wanted to be like them all-along.

  • ....weired

  • @jurm666 because its to hot there ..

  • i really love the beautiful waltz song.

    thank you so much!

  • this sucks so bad in english.

  • Why not go to Home Depot and find an Om poison. It looks like the Drags are using strange methods to kill the Oms. That's just my take. And tell the old woman to use a bra.

  • its so weird seeing the ohms killed by those machines

  • fantastic movieee

  • Amazing how the genocide stopped when the victims of genocide perpetuate their own form of genocide.

  • @peskied Survival is the prime imperative.

  • ahhh... saggy..

  • What a trip.

  • 1:53 penis!

  • why dont they cover the grandmaaas tiiiiiiittttsss yyuuuuccchh ^^

  • 0:01 Skeet

    0:04 Skeet

    0:09 Skeet

    Mofo

  • ACTIVATE THE DISINTEGRATION RAY!

  • that old lady is HAWT daaaammmmnnnn

  • This looks to me one of the first ever messages done in popular media that directly relates to the 2012 theories. I wonder if Sitchin or Jordan Maxwell had anything to do with this.

  • 3:10 Caribou sample.."Every Time She Turns Around it's Her Birthday". I've heard that Madlib has sampled from this soundtrack as well..

  • I love the artwork. its so beautiful and weird. The music after a while made me a bit lightheaded....Really interesting. THanks.

  • I LOVE the orchetsra during the end credits!!!!!

Scratch that...I LOVE THE WHOLE MOVIE!!!!!!!!

  • @BEL79NUN I agree, this entire soundtrack is wonderful! Lush, strange and very fitting.

  • @aramanth it just gives me this type of feeling like a mysterious feeling about life I haven't ever heard any soundtrack like this one

  • Just some food for thought, the Draggs (can't remember the exact spelling, sorry!) treated the Oms as inferior up until the very end, while it turns out that the Draggs were essentially stealing their knowledge from other beings the entire time, while the Oms learned what they knew from scratch.

  • @Prankmeister1990 no the oms learned from the draggs

  • I think the real happyend would have been, if humans would killed off all of the aliens.

  • How would that be "a happy ending"?

Isn't the best possible ending for this would be the ohms and draags make peace? (which is what happened)

  • Well, if we would ecounter intelligent aliens in our real life, it will be our duty to neautralize them, in order to prevent our extinction The the film, most logical choice from the humans would be to kill all Draags, and to capture their vast planet The end of the film is not a happy ending, because peace is an illusion The reality is war, intermissioned with short periods of peace

  • I don't think this is about humans vs aliëns. Both the Ohms and the Draags are in fact human.

The way the Ohms are so tiny represents the way powerless people view themselves.

The Draags represent the billionaires and politicians, who feel that they are bigger and more important than the rest.

It's about how knowledge and personal independence is the only way to arm yourself from being exploited by those in power.

  • @noxure

    You are a genius.

  • @Kemonokami Not even close. :)

  • Because the Draags have a larger planet, with more resources, it is inevitable, that they will violate the peace agreement, and exterminate all humans.

  • @Mogzyx: The Israelis/Draags only want peace. I am sure they would never violate the peace unless the Ohms perpetrated some terrorist attack.

  • @websnarf Actually the moral is that if Isralis/ Drags insist on terrorism, even the planets they desire to mate with( The USA) will become repelled. The Non Jewish planetary systems ( India and China) have already been repelled... They are neither Islamic or Isreli influenced.

  • @websnarf And I am sure the Ohms wouldn't perpetrate terrorist attack if they were treated decently and if they were not colonized.

  • @Mogzyx: There can be no peace so long as the Taliban/Ohms are intent on the destruction of the non-Islamic/Draag influence.

  • aaaah so sic, I love this.

  • this was dope! and to think, i only found out about it cuz of a beat by J Dilla.....good movie tho...thx

  • if u want someting go for it and if they dont comply...you take it.If they cant beat you they will join you!!!!

  • unexpected end, just a work of art, a master piece in movie's history

  • I really enjoyed it after 30 years.

    Thank you.

  • That was AWESOME! Thanks for posting it.

  • Weird movie!! 5/5

  • holy shit, this is by far the craziest movie i have ever watched. so interesting.

  • Comment removed

  • wow this is really awesome

  • thank you for uploading this movie.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha so fukn trippy

  • DAMN GOOD MOVIE !!!!

  • stupid mudkip people...

  • ketamine dream,s

  • 0:51 Bitches raggity ass titties

  • fantastic!

  • it reminds me of the monty python animations in a very, very disturbing way...

  • thank you so much misstrisch!!! :D it was fabulous!

  • Wow, how old is this movie?? 22 years before my time? Great movie but must have been very...risque to create. Great animation.

  • Great movie ! Saw it when it came out

in the theaters. Loved it ever since !

  • EPIC!

  • it was great, but ended a bit sudden...

  • Ah... The music builds an amaizing climat. Design and idea is more than... im wordless.

The movie is too sick for me...

  • beautiful soundtrack

  • I already thought this film was pretty bizarre, and then we come to the dancing statues...

  • That was great.

  • this film instills a great sense of humanism within me.

  • @kedrick06 - Possibly, this was the intent.

  • Thanks for posting. I'm glad this wasn't forgotten to time.

This is one of those films from the 60's-70's that has imprinted my consciousness forever, along with:

    2001: A Space Odyssey

    The Holy Mountain

    Heavy Traffic

    Yellow Submarine

    Lucifer Rising

    Invocation of my Demon Brother

  • Thanks for the list, getting heavy traffic and the last 2 to watch

  • The Holy Mountain is a great film - For those who haven't seen it look up the trailer on youtube.

  • I'll have to remember to use my disintegration ray next time my rocket is threatened by some bad dancing

  • @Skazzuk

    LOL

  • The great and mighty cock rockets, they pentrate space.

  • I saw this movie when I was a kid, 5 or 6 years old in the early 1970s. I've always remembered it.

I am very happy to have found it again.

  • 2:01 Is dat sum Katamari I see?

  • Fake

  • does anyone know of any movies like this, abstract and obscure?

  • Yellow Submarine comes to mind.

  • and the cock rockets are funny 2

  • whats up with the old boobs 1;00 min in

  • Hahahaha, pretty cool. Sort of seemed like the animators were showing off alittle. I found that alot fo the "weird, creepy" space stuff was not necessary for in thecontinuation of the plot, but they sort of wanted to show off all their weird concepts. Pretty cool, though all together. I give it a thumbs up.

  • quirky film, but a disintigration ray would not sound like a tap leaking.

  • haha the sound effects in this are genius, shhh

  • LOVED IT!!

  • OMG!

  • What beautiful music. I have this on DVD :D One of my faves.

  • Haha the old lady dying scene was epic.

  • great movie, loved it

  • this is some wack stuff...yet i cant help but watch.

  • So this is where L Ron Hubbard stole the story for Battlefield Earth from.....

  • Thanks for posting! Still need to see this movie from beginning to end.

  • Naive though... probably it was ok when it came out. Totally agree with Commonsense11111.

  • I diden't realy understan the ending.. wueld anywon please tell me?

  • what didnt u get?

  • what the movie realy did mean..

  • the draags and the hommes made peace, and lived together harmoniously in the end.

  • I think they obviously made peace with each other's races and lived in peace thereon.

  • french knew how to do animation in the pass

    not now...

  • my mind is completely somewhere else now~~ oh man...are there any other movies like this?

  • this movie is absolutely phenomenal

  • wow this was a big deal when it came out. probably more due to the animation than the plot. today is it s more of a historical piece than art.

  • all that mental masturbation made them go blind.

  • This post is now the only one that matters.

  • watched all 8 parts..most weird, disturbing, creative short film that i've seen lol. the thing that kept me into the film though was the music...forgot the name of the composer but the music was outstanding..and the J Dilla beat made from this segment is soo dope!!!

  • Lets face it, when humans do encounter aliens, we'll probably be the ones doing the colonising and conquering of other worlds, it is human nature after all.

  • conquer and pillage! thats how the vikings did it!

thats how we do it today! lol

  • mierda es demasiado arrecha

some animals characters looks like the paiting of jeronimus bosco

  • my favorite ohm killing machine is the big balls that just roll over them.

  • Truly an AMAZING film.

More people should be exposed to this genius.

  • @ 0:47: I would be PISSED OFF if I was that old bitch. Imagine: all this technology springing up around you and they still can't fix your saggy tits. She went to her deathbed with mile long cleavage. What a shame.

  • lmao.

  • its a great movie i like the sound track

j dilla(r.i.p) sampled one of his greatest beats from here

  • thank you so much for posting this!

  • Care to explain?

  • dignasy, you suck.

  • their spaceships looked so familiar

  • I gotta read the book.

  • Is that A White power Machine?

  • wtf is with that chick's drooping boobs...so unnecessary

  • Well it's understandable because of her age, but they're so damn distracting D:

  • Thank you

  • knowledge IS power. end of story

  • Wrong

  • thanks for posting these, I hadn't seen this movie since I was about 4

  • I remember seeing this when I was 12 in Berkeley, where I grew up; it was just soooo perfect. For some reason there was no translation and much of the spoken soundtrack (even in the French) was removed - I only remember music. It was very abstract watching it that way. At last it makes a little sense.

  • Oh man, such a great movie ö. It's originally from Poland isn't it?

  • nah its from france

  • Wow. Just wow. This is so cool. Kinda trippy at times, but still awesome

  • great

  • Big tnx! Perfect animation! Brilliant.... didnt saw it for 10 years!

  • I would hate to get punked by a big blue mother fucker.

  • The music is what I liked

  • disturbing.

    thank you for sharing.

  • it's like a bad acid trip gone so much more wrong

  • Try watching from the beginning.

  • Such a magical movie. Thank you SO much for sharing. =)
