  • Thanx very much....

  • dude could you send me the last 3 cofig. per massage? I would be very thankful :D

  • @faceless2103 I'm not too sure of the parameters, and I sold my unit a really long time back. Look through the comments though. I'm sure there are a couple of posts I've put up about the parameters for the sounds you liked.

  • I need help......it seems that when I plug my Korg AX3000G straight into the back of my computer, I have to crank the pedalsl volume all the way up to barely hear anything at all, and thats just using my patchcords....Is this normal or am I missing something?...please help

  • @snurf727 Dude try connecting the pedal to the usb of the computer through the interface.

  • THANK YOU getvicky13!!!!!!!! I will get this effect, and I needed this....... This video is very very good! Thank you!!

  • Excelent Job!. Can you send me the patches please?

  • line 6 floor pod plus / xt live/ x3 live/ hd300/ hd400/ hd500 tienen la posta !!

  • hey i've the same problem...but i have a Korg toneworks AX1G.

  • Hi, I would like to know how did you get the "Rock lead tone". Could somebody tell me which Config do I have to put in my Korg AX3000g to get this sound?

  • guys, i got mine a year ago.plugged it into a spider III 30w amp. what bothers me is that after plugged thru the korg ax3000g, my guitar signal from the amp seems to be like "choked" and the tone kinda diminished especially with distortion. the sustain seems to get shorter too. with my guitar plugged straight to the amp without the pedal, the sound was alot more "out there" and sustain was longer. is there any way to solve this problem? thanks guys!

  • @agentelectric I don't know how it can sound 'choked', but I can tell you that if your sustain seems to cut off, then, your noise gate settings may be high, and you'll need to cut back on the noise reduction. I'm trying to see how it can sound 'choked' as you put it...because its never happened to me. Can you post the settings of the patch that make it sound choked?? Maybe if I see the settings, I could help you a bit more.

  • @getvicky13 thanks for the reply m8. well urm, i run my guitar thru the amp without the pedal, the sound i get is thicker tones, richer harmonics whereas thru the pedal the sound got weak (less sustain & thinner tones). i was thinking the same thing so i shut off the noise gate but although its slightly better, its still not as good as when i had my guitar juz straight to the amp. i guess an example would b that when i pull a divebomb the sustain was alot weaker when i had it thru the pedal.

  • @agentelectric Of course...its always the best thing to do to connect straight to an amp with a few pedals :) There's no signal loss at all that way. And again, I'd like to see your settings, because I've done divebombs too back when I was younger, and its never cut off for me!

  • @agentelectric Bro, check if: your output knob is turned all the way up to the "amp" part on the back of your processor..that solved the same problem I had...In that way you have the full sound. Unless done so, your processor lowers the guitar signal and sends it to the amp...another thing you should check is that whether your volume/gain settings are set to some low value...that can also be problem, but if your output is to the max, volume should be around 12 o clock, and not over...

  • @agentelectric if you put some compression sustain becomes longer..sorry 4 my english :P

i use noise gate usually on 30-40 + compression with sensitivity on 75-85, level on 60-85...it works fine ;)

Sadly, compressor adds a little bit of noise that gate can´t hold without killing your sustain...welcome to reality hahaha

mmm maybe "choked" means asfixiated?? ^^

    good luck!

  • how was your delay set on the high gain lead sound? delay type, delay time, feedbak, delay mix?

  • Seriously I need the settings of the High Gain Rythem and Lead:O

  • same for me dude!!

  • I've heard some complains about the "sound was cut off" while playing. Is that true? How's the output of this thing?

  • @AHMADF93 Its never happened to me while I owned this unit. I did have problems with the footswitches though. The contact switches inside can get worn out. Luckily, I had them replaced in a local electronics store. The output of this unit is really good! It takes time to get a decent overdrive tone on this. Try using the Boutique OD drive model, along with some cab modelling. The cab modelling really has an impact on the final sound.

  • I need this crunchy tone you got in here...can u tell me the settings, or just email me preset if you have it on pc...thx :)))

  • Hello how are you, I have a korg ax3000g But Do Not Understand how to fix the effects, I wonder if you Could help me and tell me how to fix the effects I liked a lot, really thank you very much beforehand pardon the spelling

  • i dont like the sounds of this processor

  • pls post the high gain rhythm tone patch....

  • please how do you do the high gain rhythm tone and high gain lead, could you send me the patches, the position of the tuners? thanks!!!!

  • @Totote423

please look through the comments on the video. I've given a rough setting for those patches. I don't remember the exact settings because I sold the processor a really long time back.

  • @getvicky13 why did u sold the processor any probs ??

  • i just received this processor, everything alrite wid it, i'v bin able to customised my own patches.. the only inconvenience am having wid it is that wen am playing, the sound as if cut off and then comes back and again goes out.. wat u guys cn suggest me to eradicate this damn trouble?? plz do response.. I'l be using it live very very soon. tnx

  • @abishua13

If your processor is working fine, then i dont think there's a problem with the unit. Check the output jack on your guitar, check your guitar cable, and check the soldering inside the guitar. There may be some loose wiring inside your guitar that could be causing the trouble

  • @abishua13 I'm experiencing the same problem in here!!! When I put my guitar to the amp only I don't get the problem...should I send it back while I still have warranty on it??

  • @TheUnforgivenGenius hi buddy, i no more get that prob now.. but i use it mostly on sundays in an air conditioned hall. because of the way things are done by air conditioners, i have z same prob.. but i'l be using a UPS soon, they say this will stop z cut.. else wen i use it at home, its working perfectly. try to connect it via a UPS(uninterrupted power supply)

  • @abishua13 Hey bro, I sent it to the shop i bought it in...they 'fixed' it...it works for now :))) But UPS is really nice idea :)) Thanks bro! :))

  • @abishua13 I have finally figured out what is causing this!!! Some amps can't handle the amplified sound of the guitar from the processor so the get over-heated and they stop sending signal until they chill out a bit.... just don't krank the output volume over 12 on ur processor and you should be fine...

  • @TheUnforgivenGenius hmmm.. ok.. Thanks buddy :))

  • @abishua13 Hope I helped :) The same thing happens to me when I plug in processor on my line6 spider iii 30 watt...but using same amp just spider iv, the problem is gone....

  • a payed 250 euros for korg ax 3000g two years ago, now is cheaper...

  • thanks for your video....i already buy this effect so i check every single video in this youtube..

  • do you really know how to use the vox wah?

  • not really. i was quite a beginner when i made this video. and i havent really used wah much since anyway. getting a new wah pedal, so hopefully, should get to play around with it a lot more and develop a good wah technique.

  • @getvicky13 but youre good man. i just didnt feel the vox wah that much. but overall rating i'll give you a 5stars. thanks for the demo. \m/ by the way, how much did you buy the korg ax3000g? because i'm planning to buy one

  • hehe thanks a lot! i bought the korg ax3000g for about Rs.14000 (India). I dont know how much that works out in your currency though.

  • @getvicky13 does this have usb recording

  • @helldx07 Nope :)

  • @helldx07 but the tascam dp-02cf does and its only worth £225 !!!

  • @pugNdrum But I Got Myself a Boss Me-25 ..lol

  • can you tell me the parameters that you used for create these sounds please?

    1)high rhythm tone

    2)high gain lead

i have it but i don't know how to create those fantastic sounds!! (sorry for my bad english)

  • nice patches man, i got this one too , but today i get an new amp ( 65 ) and it sounds like shit with it xD, this have fucked my day

  • 65 amps are great amps! i don't know why you use the processor with this amp! your amp loves pedals. i'm sure you might have watched the videos put up by proguitarshop. they almost always use 65 amps for their demos.

i don't know if this might work, but run your processor into the effects return of the amp. use the effects return instead of the guitar input.

  • Ok thank you for the response say me I have a guitar they paul with tablets emg, you believe that if I put these effects they are listened equally?? And if it(he,she) is that if wherefrom you extracted them?? Can you facilitate them to your me??, regards.

  • It will sound even better, since you have a better guitar, with really good pickups. And i don't have this processor anymore. I sold it more than a year back. sorry.

  • Ok gracias por la respuesta dime tengo una guitarra les paul con pastillas emg, crees que si pongo estos efectos se escuchen igual?? y s ies que si donde los sacaste?? me los podrias facilitar??, saludos.

  • I'm sorry, but i don't understand spanish. For the previous message, i used a google language tool to help me out. It would be great if you could comment in english.

  • Que guitarra estas usando? saludos.

  • Ibanez GRG 270

  • Does ax3000 have harmonizer?

  • No. It only has a pitch shifter.

  • tres cool

  • thank you man!!!!!! =D

  • Hey man, where I can found the: acoustic simulator, hard rock distortion, high gain rhythm tone and the high gain lead? In what numbers?? I like your guitar style!! you are good

    5 stars!!!!

  • acoustic simulator - pre fx

hard rock dist - shred dist

    high gain - metal dist

high gain lead - metal dist with some compression and delay

  • hey man i just got this pedal and i dont know how to do half the stuff or make it sound how you do and what somethings do, can you explain to me the basics of this and what something are used for

  • hey bro..thnx a lot 4 tking time and helping everybody out..i jst got the ax3000 and am not satisfied with the dist..i need a more heavy sound so wud a Boss DS1 or anyother pedal work fine with the processor especially for sustaining solos and stuff..thx

  • hey man...i tried putting a DS-1 too. i dint get very desirable tones, but maybe you'll get something better. and you say that you've just got the processor. try spending some time with it man. you might end up with an awesome sounding overdrive that you can even use for stuff like old school metal, like megadeth and maiden. and for sustaining solos, try turning on the compressor, some reverb and delay.

  • Comment removed

  • How do you tweak the compressor?

  • in the pre fx section, you can choose the compressor. you have basically two parameters in the compressor - sensitivity and level. i think the level parameter is basically the output volume of the compressor, and sensitivity controls the amount of compression.

  • Does somebody know High Gain Lead settings?

  • Hey Vikram, Uday here. Watching the video after a really long time, the riff you played for the crunch tone is the riff for One Night Stand righT? Man i just love that song! Awesome!

  • hahahaha yeah it is the riff for One Night Stand! lol! I think i came up with this riff before the song was composed! lol

  • Lol. But i dig that riff man.

  • you are very good my friend....and you got a very cool sound... with this pedalboard.... CHEERS 5 STARS

  • Hey can you send me all of these settings? I've had soooo much trouble with this korg. It would be a big help! Thank you!

  • sorry bro. sold the processor a long long time back. check the comments here. i've given a few settings from what i remembered.

  • how can i make the acoustic simulator?? tell me please!

  • in the pre fx section, there's a parameter by which you can use the acoustic simulation. its pretty simple really.

  • can i get the effect Joe sat gets on the song Searching with the pitch bend.

  • yeah..i think you can get pretty close. you'll have to assign the expression pedal on the AX 3000G to control the pitch on the pitch bend parameter in the modulation section. i think the pitch is set to go one octave higher. not too sure though, and for the amp model, you'll have to use something high gain. like the metal dist model.

  • thanks, it would have been awesome if it had the loop like the AX1500 did, one more thing, can I get the infinite delay Gary Moore gets on Walkways?

  • not sure about the infinite delay bit, but if you want really long delay sounds that hold on for a long time, try pushing your feedback control to 10.

  • fucking good job dude

  • WOW! can you tell me the setting for high gain lead?

  • metal distortion drive model, compression, spring reverb, analog delay.. AC 30 cabinet

    modelling.

  • wow.. say me please the clean chorus information!! *__* great sound!

  • i think its the AC 30 amp model with a bit of chorus and spring reverb. and preferably used on a single coil pickup.

  • Hey man please help

Should I use this or the Pandora PX5d for playing lead???(death metal / rock..)

Oh yeah and I'm gonna use it with my keyboards

Also does this thing have Bypass and Pitch Bend please help me man ....Would be very grate full if u did ..by the way ,Great playing man!!

  • hey buddy...i really dont know about the pandora. i've never used it.

and yeah the korg ax3000g does have a bypass and pitch bend. the pitch bend can be controlled using the expression pedal.

  • Thanks a lot man really

  • sounds good, but how long did you need to make all these patches, because i can't find sound which i want for months...?

  • i didn't take too long actually. i think i posted this video quite a few months after i bought the processor. and i just trusted my ears. thats about it. you just need to know what effect does what. and dont go by the names given for the drive parameters. just turn the knob until you get a sound thats close to what you want, and then tweak it till you zero in on what you exactly need your tone to be like.

  • What should i get a line 6 floor pod plus or a korg ax3000g??

  • try and go for a line 6 pod xt live. i dont know abt the floor pod plus, but a friend owns and one, and maybe its just him, but i havent heard many good tones from it. depends on what you play..the korg ax 3000g cannot handle extreme metal sounds.

  • Is there a sound patch that i can download through the net to my ax3000g? plss help me

  • well, if there's a database of patches uploaded by someone, you can download them. but i have never really come across something like this, and even if i did, i wouldnt have downloaded a patch.

  • it sounds good, except, why does it sound like its coming off from a cave?

  • well, i did not record direct into a DAW, and i did not use a professional mic (not even an SM 57) to record the sound from the amp. And i did not record it in a studio which has controlled acoustic conditions. I did it in my bedroom with a desktop microphone in front of my marshall. Its also possible that it sounds like that coz i've used a bit of spring reverb in all the patches.

  • ok, sorry dude, my bad

  • Can i have your email? i have lots of questions XD

  • i have this pedal, and im pretty sure it doesn't, unless im missing something, but can u record urself and loop it just using hte pedal?

  • haha you're right. you can't record and loop on this processor. get yourself an loop station pedal from boss. the RC 2 i think.

  • does it have infinite delays?

  • yes. if you put the feedback on 10, it will continue to hold the sound.

  • thats superfantastic ... !

  • hehehe! yes it is! am glad ppl still listen to mr.big. btw, they are reforming. the original line up, with paul gilbert, eric martin and billy sheehan. forgot the drummer's name...

  • sen me your patches? =)

  • Pat Torpey! Better remember his name cause he´s the most talented of the band.

  • and, what amp did u use?

  • its a marshall mg 15CD. i've mentioned so in the video :)

  • man, the sound is awesome , please send me your patches ...I need help

    thanks

  • man, can you help me with the high gain lead? I cant reach that sound... could you tell me how to make that patch? also the rock lead please!

  • high gain lead - metal distortion, spring reverb, analog delay, compression, and AC 30 cabinet modelling

rock lead - shred distortion, black 2 X 12 cabinet modelling, analog delay, compression and spring reverb

  • hey did you directly recorded to your computer? I have an ax3000g to and i'm wondering where i need to plug in an S/PDIF cable into my pc

  • i used a very old computer mic that i placed in front of my amp. you'll need an external recording interface like an m-audio fast track pro or presonus firebox to use a spdif cable for recording.

  • do you think that it will work with a 1/8 to 1/4 inch converter, so i put in the ax3000g in my computer, where i put a micro in. ?

  • maybe it will. if your computer has a line in jack, it should work with a software like audacity or something. i've never really tried it, so i cant comment.

  • sorry i mean 1/4 to 1/8 :)

  • hey does it have a metronome and different drum patches and rhythms??

and if i had to chose between a DIGITECH GNX3000 n KORG AX3000G which one should i take?

  • no it doesnt have a drum machine or a metronome. between a digitech gnx3000 and a korg ax3000, maybe you could go for the digitech. depends on what you play though. i have heard that digitech with distortions. dont expect extreme high gain possibilities from the korg. it just wont. i used the korg more for its clean tones and its overdrives.

  • the gnx4! i dont know if it have a metronome or drum patch but i know that you can record an mp3 in the memory and loop it, so if you use a record of a drum beat it can be a better option because it can give you more possibilities than the gnx3000 or the last rp model. i prefer the clean tones of the digitech and the distortions seems to be close to the korg, not as good but a good choice too.

  • Does the Korg AX3000G has a tuner??

  • of course it does. press and hold down any of the program footswitches and you're in the tuner mode.

  • Hey to every 1, I'm almost turning 16, in about a week or so, and i wanne buy a new effectpedal for my Epiphone les paul custom EB and my Marshall mg 100 dfx. I'm planning to pay 100-200 euro's for it. Any 1 has some nice idea's? i was thinking about the Korg AX 3000g myself.

But any other idea's are very welcome ;), thank you very much.

    Scargon

  • Since you're using a solid-state modeling amp, you will immediately benefit from a more versatile delay than what comes onboard. Delays are easily a more commonly used effect. You can then rely on your onboard phaser, flanger, and chorus. A new distortion would be nice too, but I'm not sure how solid state amps take to distortion pedals, but you can use your amp's clean channel. The nice thing about effects systems like the Korg is that you get room to explore and discover...

  • With pedals, you'll get better sound quality, however, you'll spend a lot of money as you move from pedal to pedal in order to find what you want. I wouldn't begin investing in pedals until you know precisely what sound you're looking for. And at your age, you should probably focus on exploring many different kinds of music, so guitar multi-effects systems are likely a better choice right now.

  • no pedals with an SS amp, multifx is the way to go, and especially you who you have an MG...Digitech Rp500 or Boss ME70..Check them out :)

  • mild overdrive / crunch what amp did you use it sound pretty nice :D

  • vox ac 30 and spring reverb.

  • you played really long on the high gain part. you really like it don't u? hahaha. nice vid. and great playing.

  • haha all the riffs and solos in this video were made up in about a matter of 20 minutes. did not really bother to see which one was longest!

and thanks! glad you liked the video.

  • 100!!

  • and how are the bass, mid, treble, etc.?

  • dont remember dude. sold my processor in january.

  • This is great multieffect and you presented it very well! But i'm curious, what did you buy instead?

  • i went analog. I bought a damage control tube preamp and a digitech screaming blues overdrive pedal.

  • Thanks :)

  • what is the setting of the High gain rythm tone? i bought this effect yesterday, but i didnt find high gain

  • its the metal dist parameter in the drive/amp section

  • your high gain lead was sick!

  • hehe thanks a lot! glad you liked it.

  • can you give me presets for the vox wah? appreciate it :)

  • unfortunately, i dont know the settings for the wah parameter. i've even sold my processor. i've gone analog. but the amp model that i had used in the wah patch was a vox ac 30 with a decent amount of gain..

  • heyyy chekc that video nice patches made...

  • what was the song you were playing for the high gain rhythm tone

  • that was just some riff i came up with...dint copy any song!! hehe

  • can the ax3000g be connected to the computer?

  • yes it can. can be connected straight to your recorder with the digital output, or you could hook up processor with a midi cable. of course, your computer or recording interface must have midi ports.

  • hi can u tel me a way to increase volume of a plain acoustic patch n also how to make a nice n soft acoustic patch like pink floyd

  • what do you mean by 'increasing the volume of a plain acoustic patch? you could either set the patch on a rather high volume, bring the pedal back a bit to reduce the volume and depress the pedal when you want it loud, or you can make another patch in the same bank, with a louder setting.

soft acoustic patch like floyd? try using a Boutique CL amp model, with some chorus, delay and a good amount of spring reverb.

  • Very nice!!! Can you give me your presets for mild overdrive/ crunch???

  • yeah..its a basic amp model. just turn up the gain on the vox ac 30 amp model. and use a bit of spring reverb.

  • sexy demo man...keep it up!

  • can u post me the setting for th metal n rock patches u showd of rythm n lead

  • hey...metal - metal dist, AC 30 cab model and a bit of spring reverb. add a little compression and delay for the solo.

rock - use shred dist, blk 2X12 cab model, spring reverb. use compression and delay for lead.

  • guys what s better this effect pedal or a boss me20? plz tell me

  • depends on what you want to use man. if you're more of an effects user, go for the korg ax 3000g. but if you want more distortions and simple tones, go for the me 20.

  • no way... korg is much better than the me series of boss..

  • sorry for my english

  • I'm sorry man. I don't know about the price of the unit in USA. I'm from India.

  • Do yoiu know how to sample and play on the korg? if you do can you tell me how to?

  • what's your guitar and amp? Are you using input or "power amp in" or something like that at your amp? (my English is bad sorry)

And did you tried vox tonelab? I want clasicrock & blues tone. Should I buy tonelab because of valve?

  • i used an ibanez grg 270 and a marshall mg 15 CD for this video. and i used the power amp in for the demo.

i havent tried the vox tonelab, but i've heard good things about it. but if you want to play classic rock and blues, i really suggest you buy pedals, like a digitech bad monkey or boss super overdrive.

  • hi man i realy liked your demo please could you tell me how much does this pedal cost, because i from argentina and im going to have a trip to New York and miami and i realy want to buy this pedal but i cant find the price of this pedal could you tell me the price of this pedal in Miami and in New York ? thanks you very much

  • How are the effects man?

Apart from distortion, are there any techno effects in it? I heard it has a sitar effect?

    I'm into electro-funk

  • if you're into techno and stuff, this is brilliant. awesome clean tones and a lot of modulation effects. the effects are really good on this unit. although you wont have a slicer effect, its got tremolo, uni vibe, phaser, flanger, sitar, chorus, pitch shift and what not.

  • Thanks a bunch brother!

    :)

  • Dude, how do you record it in such good quality?

Do you use a Interface or something?

  • nope. i just placed a simple and very very cheap microphone(the type we use for voice chats) in front of my amplifier, and switched off everything that moves inside my room. thats about it.

  • can u help me with the patch settings for korg ax10g for master of puppets??

  • hehe..i really dont know abt the korg ax10g...and i dont play metal..so i wouldnt know abt the patch for MoP

  • You can just make them by trying.. Else you can try the standard setting 15,3. that one mean distortion!

2,3 sounds also pretty evil :D

  • whops.. didnt see you wrote ax10g.. thought it was ax3000g. never mind :P

  • does this have good in between sounds like SRV style?

  • well, i guess you can get close with the Vox AC 30 amp model. I wont say that you can replicate tones, coz with any processor, you can only model the 'tone' of an amp, and not the dynamics of the amp. Simply put, you can sound like you're playing a Fender Bassman, or Vox AC30, but you just wont feel it.

  • ok thank you, what is the first song ?

  • that first song which i played is 'Superfantastic' by Mr.Big. The other songs are all my own riffs and licks..

  • hey, what is your guitar ?

  • for this demo, i used an ibanez grg 270.

  • dude i have one of these too please, please can u giv me the parameters u used for the acoustic the clean chorus the mild/crunch and the high gain, please dude reply id really aprecciate man im a rookie guitar player looking for a good sound

  • That's all the patches in this video, excepting the hard rock patch!!!

look around somewhere in this thread man. i think i've given some parameters here. besides, since you're a rookie, now is the time when you should really start trying to get your own sound. dont limit yourself to what i've done. figure things out for yourself man.

  • Very nice!!! Can you give me your presets for High gain rhythm tone and High Gain Lead??? It would be very nice...i have the board since a few hours...
