1) This was basically the closest thing you could get to an atomic bomb in rap. Never heard or seen anything like it since. This one record destroyed Badboy record label and whatever credibility they had left. You could see Puffy and co running around like headless chicken the following day when they heard it. They knew finally they got found out and exposed for what they are: a generic pop label without a message or substance. A fad. For me, this is one positive thing that came out of all this.

The venom n lyrical assault in this track was beyond anything conceivable in beef - 2pac was going out to end careers, destroy people for good; family, kids, wives.There was nothing off the table. They were collateral damage. No, he was a little over the top (lol), but i understand where he was coming from. Badboys were looking to dominate music with their nonsensical, commercial-driven rap. Badboy regime n domination had to end. And 2pac ended it.
