Wish I could have been there. I was one of the crew who build and installed the hydraulic motion base for the simulator. I was really proud to have been a part of that, especially after going through the finished attraction with my family. It's too bad it's gone now. I remember meeting a girl named April who was one of the original Enterprise crew members. She was cool!
The only thing with the Starfleet uniforms at STE was that they had those cheap gift shop metal comm badges instead of the more matt looking ones as used on the shows etc.
wow..i was in the last cast of startrek the experience, worked in the kitchen making pastries and deserts for quarks bar, man i miss that job! i still have my startrek star fleet patch with the certifcate of aunthenticity
Bummer that its gone.. that was really cool.. was the hole point of why when ever i went id be at that hotel.. guess that goes to the saying "all good things have to end sometime"
The Experience was great fun and all the people who worked there seemed to love it. I also liked the restaurant. But it had a few problems. it was too expensive. The ride video was never updated and after 10 years and digital tv, the effects looked old. And it should never have been in Vegas, the whole ride should be part of the Universal studios tour.
STE was the MAIN reason for me to visit Las Vegas. I don't think I'll be going half as much as I used to. RIP STE; my 15+ trips will never be forgotten. Thank you for the years of unforgettable memories.
Thank you soooo much for posting this... wish I could have been there... too many tears from me. I'm glad the "cast and crew" were recognized and given their due!! Great job! It's to bad you could not have gone back stage to interview these people. Thanks again.
I couldn't verify two of the members names - they both directly follow Brigid Kelly and precede Melvin Ladera. If anyone knows their correct names, I'll edit and re-upload the video. (Apologies to these two untitled members). Also, if I've made mistakes on any of the other names, please let me know.
It sucks that the Star Trek Experience closed down. I never had a chance to visit that place. :(

Is the full ceremony, as filmed by Paramount, available for sale to the public?

Ah, thanks April! My guesses were close, from listening to the audio, but my phonetic spellings were horribly wrong. ;¬)
