  • the fuck~! they arrested the goat of all things, the goat~?

  • @AngelLover347 They were very superstitious,I think possibly they believed the goat as being a symbol of the devil or something..

  • i <3 Gringoire he is funny

  • See, I LOVE the Frollo in this version... but I just don't like the way he interacts with Quasi... there should be more DYNAMIC interactions between them. He just has a blank face, when he should be speaking volumes with his facial expressions and even gestures...

  • Oh, I think I'm a Gringoire fangirl..

  • @mahogonywhisper ahahah me too, me too :P

  • In a way Quasimodo is ahead of his time: he rings bells loudly and only a look from his father will stop him, I'm like that with my music. :)

  • why does esmeralda find stupid phoebus better than gringoire?!

  • "I protest in the name of common sense!" xD

  • This story proves it: there are literally no good guys to date out there.

  • @jarvisel bollovks

  • its cute how he says "stupid supersticion!" lol

  • "It's a shame when the fate of a girl depends on the behaviour of a goat!"

It is, indeed. What's really funny is that it sounded like a serious line!

  • ok... to clear up desperate confusion, let me explain something.

IN THE BOOK, Claude Frollo is the one who adopts Quasimodo and such. He is the archdeacon. Jehan (Or Jhan) is the one that drinks away the money set to him by his brother, Claude. Claude is a good guy for a while then he (more or less) turns to the dark side and becomes the antagonist.

  • @Ballad512 Ok thank you!! I wasn't the only one who saw that. It's a little funny though don't you think? To see Jehan all serious and the Chief of Justice XD

  • this is very dramatic...

  • That's the cutest goat! Although why didn't they just use a white goat and call it Djali? Seriously, how hard would that have been?

  • Ok, this is screwed up. Don't get me wrong this is amazing, but Frollos name is Claude, not Jhan, Jhan is not a priest he begged for money off of Frollo to spend on prostitues and alcohol...

  • That was mean to destroy the printing press, they have no right. >=(

Why do people hang Gypsies because of magic? the magic can be bad but also more good than bad.

  • phoebus was such a moron in this version... I'm totally crushing on gringoire though, he's super cute.

  • They killed Phoebus! Life is good.

  • @RoseBurgundy YES! I love this movie!

  • o0o0o0oh Gringoire I love him! :)

  • A goat hahahaha!! wow strange peopel poor Esme!

  • Frollo looks better on the disney movie XD lol

  • What happens in the movie is this: Frollo killed Phoebus with his own knife. Esmeralda carried a knife herself so she took it out because she was scared by Frollo. So when they found Esmeralda holding her knife they thought she killed Phoebus with it. In the book too, Frollo used his own knife to kill Phoebus and when the guards searched Esmeralda they found her knife in her clothes and they thought that she killed Phoebus. A pity they didn't check for blood stains.

  • and another pitty is they didn't know about fingerprints, and skin tissues, and stuff.

  • Unfortuanly Frollo didn´t kill him but he should. He had made a favour to the world.

  • @DaniMajor Better Frollo dead than Phoebus in my opinion.

  • @YourOasis97 Look I am sorry for saying this, it's not about taking freedom of Speech or anything else, but for fuck's sake, my comment has three years. Do you really think it's necessary to comment on something someone said three years ago? Not that I, looking back, don't agree with what I wrote, but I'm past this. Come on people, if you really must, make an effort to comment on comentaries that are recent!

  • @DaniMajor jeez, what bug crawled up and died in your ass? I didn't notice. To err is human. Next time take a chill pill.

  • i like the description of this scene in the book. Hugo said Esme saw Frollo like a ghost just above phoebus' head, and as the dagger stoke, she fainted. (and here's my favourite part: as she was asleep, she felt Clade's fiery lips giving her a quick, desperate kiss) when she awoke Phoebus was lying on the floor

  • That's right. I love how frollo kissed her. It was so cute, even if it is a sad, desperate scene.

  • @naly202 It was magical wasn't it! :) Esmeralda, you lucky bitch!

  • @naly202 Yeah, why didn't they show that in this version??? Man, someday, I'm gonna do an adaptation of Hunchback... but I'm gonna do it the BEST... I hope, haha.

  • He killed Phoebus while he and Esmeralda were making out or something like that. So Phoebus was stabbed in the back and she didn't see Frollo.

  • I dont get the goat thing

  • Esmerelda:OMG you killed Phoebus!

    Audience Member:You bastard!

  • hah that's funny

  • very well! nice job!

  • Oh my god, Frollo killed Phoebus! He fucking killed him!

  • Now THERE'S something Disney cut out!!!XD

  • Phoebus is far more sympathetic in the Disney version.

  • LMFAO !
