Hey i got an 01 zx6r im havin prob getting rid of lag at 6 rpm at. 45 to 50 mph its a jerking at an idle it runs great u can rev it up and its fine bud under a load it stutters or somethin got any ideas
@delsolization try looking at your fuel filter/pump. There is a way to test the pump to see if its working. Hold the pump and tun on the ignition.It should pulsate then stop. If it dont theres a way to test the pump.. In fact i will do a video and upload it to my channel.Send me a message and i will tell you mate
@steller2000 becuase i cant explain technically, its due to the pressure within the pipes that connect between the device and the carbs, the liquid within the device stays inside the device but the pressure will push the liquid up the channels , so with any vehicle the pressure isnt static , ie the pressure moves slightly , but this is why they say its near impossible to get all the channels perfect.
@steller2000 it pulsates because its a very highly tuned engine. able to drag off a 929 Fireblade, the ZZR is cammed up with high compression. Make sure you use 98 RON petrol in one of these. 100hp from a carby 600cc engine is insane.. and yet mines done 103,000km and still runs hard and clean.
@DJ749S can a 2001 zx6e be tuned also because my bike is running rich :(

May i ask why it pulsates during idle? What causes it and how to get rid of it? Thank you for your time.

@steller2000
Pulsating at idle is normal, the secret is to get them even.
