  • where is my jager bomb dammit! i voted!

  • Thank you John I vote and I am a student ! From Québec !

Merci aux Québécois qui ont voté !

  • I think I'll go to the polling booths and I'll write totalitarianism on the forum because that's where this piece of shit of a country is heading towards anyone. Quite frankly, that's the kind of government this Canada deserves.

  • Welp, Now im Insulted and oh look, STILL NOT VOTING, hah Though he was entertainng

  • @SavageBezerkEclipse and yet no one cares what you think hes right you sound like an idiot

  • @Bradster420 I sound like an Idiot? I dont care about voting, I dont even WANT To vote. it doesnt make me an idiot, just makes me part of the mass that does NOT care

  • pretty good idea. I wouldn't generalize about students as being all stupid. I think there are many soft voices of power. Many young men and Women who have great ideas; who have come together through many mediums and are ready to converge and actually take so responsibility. "You are what you pretend to be". At this point anyone but Harper. Its a Constitutional Monarchy, your not Mr. President and this is not the USSA.

  • What a load of crap!! voting per-se is not going to help anyone. vote of a person who don't know shit about politic is worthless. I have seen many students who blame Harper government for something that has been done by their own provincial Liberal government!!

Generally speaking if someone is not voting it's because either they don't bother to educate themselves about politic or they don't care which in both case they better not to vote at all.

  • 1 Person is drunk as fuck and accidentally clicked dislike.

  • LMFAO

  • Whatever Mr lahey

  • Students made a big difference here in the states in the last presidential election. You can do it Canada!! (you usually do it better then we do)

  • I'll never trust an 18 year olds vote, missinformed students as well.

  • You add a few informative slides at the end of the video or at the very least an obvious link that leads to that info (not a sideways one that looks cute but hardly anyone will notice, and even if they do, there's no info about it or incentive to visit it) and your video goes from funny but useless to funny and very effective.

  • ..maybe you should make a video to inform students about the candidates and how they relate to the interests of the student in order to give the student an incentive to actually vote. Instead of just telling them to vote. Like I said, no point in them voting if they know noting about the election. If students felt a need to vote they would. Simply telling them to vote isn't going to make them feel that need. They aren't robots.

  • I never understood the whole "you should vote" thing. It's like pushing you to vote for the sake of voting, because voting is right and not voting is wrong. Most people don't vote because they don't give a rat shit about the election and know nothing about the candidates in the race. What's the difference if those people vote or not? They'd just be taking a shot in the dark anyway. Is the point of an election to get the best voter turn out or is it to elect the best candidate? ..

  • @roachey15 That's why people should do their research on the parties. This is our country and we deserve to know what's going on and who is trying to run it. At the very least, go to votecompass.ca and it's like a quiz that shows how you relate to each political party, and which you seem to agree with most.

    Helpful shit.

  • I plan on voting, just turned 18 awhile back. Problem is most students don't care about politics when you have JFK and Fidel Castro killing zombies together. If only students were made to take a mandatory class of Politics and when they become legal they could vote in their politics class.

Jim, you're an idol and you should be trying to run the country!

  • @darkedgekilla Funny you should say that, because twenty-something years ago, he ran for provincial office as an NDP candidate. Search "John Dunsworth: The Candidate" on YouTube.

  • @sjoseph17 Haha thats pretty cool, never knew.

  • so voting has a point in canada?

  • That was awesome! Thank you for the reminder Mr. Lahey !

  • Sounds good to me sir.May the 2nd.Gotcha.

  • Knock knock!

  • Spread the word!

  • I'm proud of living in canada partially because of you guys. ;)

  • EPIC... to bad i live in the USA but you have a point regardless... I don't know why more young people don't vote, after all its our future at stake.
