I'm actually digging the Fender EJ's with Ron Ellis pups of course;-) I haven't cared for Fender products in a long time, but those EJ's are really great guitars and they seem to get the job done.

I will post an update of an improved model of this exact same amp in about 3 month. It will be basically this amp except for it will have incorporated an all tube dumble based drive channel and include a foot switch that allows for engaging the dirty mode and the drive channel. Keep checking in cause it'll be worth it!
you seriously rawk! the MM output xformer is stock? i don't think they are great vs the handmade stuff but the amp and playing is stellar.

How would you describe the differences between the tweedyverb and the blackfaced redplate amps as far as sound etc.

BF is the most versatile and loudest clean headroom.
Tweedy is more raw and overall fatter tone. Check out my BlackVerb clip. My fave is the BV no doubt.
