if you do exactly the same in the left screen once you go through wall the first time, you go to a yellow and deformed screen where when you finally go through the wall, the game resets!

I do believe you are playing the game through an emulator on the pc. Althought the emulator emulates the ROM from the master system, it might well be that some small incompatibilitie is happening on your emulator wich causes the bug. Just maybe. It could well happen on the original. I´ve never tried it:)

I found this almost 15 years ago. But the trouble is- when you preform this your doomed! Even if you beat Janken the Great you cant finish the game. If you try climbing the ladder it wont let you reach the top (you can only go so high). So cannot also go through the castle because all areas have been disabled. So in a nut-shell. Its sorta pointless doing.
