@FireFightFilms99 It doesn't, while SR3 does allow for the ability to customize cars and clothing the line stops are items attached (like car parts and clothing items) and color. The whole symbol aspect doesn't exists (same with the MMO and seriousness)

@FireFightFilms99 Ehhh I think it's fine where it's at. I mean they have enough customization to be enjoyable, and it allows for the humorous side, but if they went to the scale of APB then they would be be competitng with a company who has an edge (and is business this is not always the best)

Plus in my opinion the character designer in APB pretty much tops Saints Rows (except we need more hair styles and woman need to have more muscle in APB)

When I hear all this bitching and moaning about the game and how G1 sucks, I can only imagine those people who have played for a while and just can't get anything higher than a bronze threat. I've been playing for 6 months, and 1: there aren't any real bugs that greatly effect gameplay. 2: There is no pay 2 win if you have half a brain and some skill. The only problem is that although they are banning a shit load of known hackers, it's taking too long between the bans. HW bans soon hopefully.

@sozaito I like this response. You point out something obvious with this, and while it would be nice to see bans sooner, it might be taking them time to detect them (also they might be doing like what steam does with a delay ban so they can catch multiple).

I do home for HW bans soon to, I think if that happens and it's made official, a large chunck of the population will come back (however you'll still have ppl call hacker cause they can't stand being defeated)

What G1 has done is pretty good in my book. The only thing I absolutely despise is the "missed opportunity" box that pops up in my face after every mission. I get it, I can get ingame money faster if I get premium, but that popup isn't helping G1.. Just makes me not want to play at all.

There is NO SUCH THING as pay to win... You can't even buy a rocket launcher in this game. Play the game often, get better at it and you will eventually have better weapons than you can buy with real money. The only weapon worth buying in the game is the whisper and even then you can mod an OCA to be 4x better than a whisper.

@zingadooda Remember the San Andreas Hot Coffee issue? They covered it up instead of taking it out. And adding an idea like that to game has got to make you think about the company.

And APB isn't just a different version of GTA. The whole customization engine (clothing and character) is almost absent in GTA (from San Andreas up, players could wear certain pre-colored clothing).

Not to mention the whole MMO aspect, as well as many other factors

@ToWYoMama I agree that the customization is pretty much half of the game, great too, but that doesn't mean Rockstar can't handle it.. G1 can't handle the other half, so why would we just want a costumization game? Play second life if you want that, the GTA part is what made the game popular, and the Threat system (that G1 has recently stomped all over and killed completely) made the game unique. This is just your average game now, I don't know how anyone gets to 195 without getting bored now.

@zingadooda I beg to differ, I think we see less symbols, but the old threat level system is still being used (just not visible, cause the old system caused issues with people's ego).

Also one of the big things behind APB is the customization. Back when RTW was selling the game a rumor was that someone would buy the game and just strip out the customization side.

It's the customization part that makes it unique, it's an innovation (APB is that is)

It's not competitive play, it's not fun at all anymore, I have no desire to play it at all. I heard they might not re-sell it, and just keep the servers up like greedy asses, sucking as much money as they can off of it before it completely dies, but it will eventually happen.
