Looked good to me man!! I bought a beat up 98 F3 and reworked all the body on it. I ride it everyday rain or shine. By good luck alone, I practiced bodywork on a wrecked car years ago. Just keep that f3 running!
Sweet video. I had to do guess work much like this when I installed the frame sliders on my cbr f2. Unlike some of the jerks posting here, I rather enjoyed the video. You remind me of some of a my good friends from my hometown. Peace.
simple, you take apart a permanent marker and pull out the ink fillament and cut it down to about 2.5 to 3" stick it in the hole thats attended for the frame slider. Then place the fearing on. You then got a precise mark. Take the fearing off, drill a 1/4" hole then place your 1" hole saw bit, SIMPLE.
Why don´t you break in half that work and studies, i´m allways wondering when a zombie like you is going to cross a street not noticing my bike, it happened before...
You work well so cover some parts of the bike with tape. Fuck school!!
I allways say in shops i can´t afford bla bla bla...and get the pieces mounted free. You make me nervous. The priority is a paint job, so choose a nice combination of colors. Don´t you work with tools? That is for screw furniture. The dog gave up his owner...don´t you ever clean that place?
I get up at 5:30am to go to work and don't get home until 9pm and then spend 2 hours on homework from my time in college. No time to clean shit. Paint job is coming one of these days
you're never gonna be able to do it if you make a hole first using that drill bit because the pilot point is what will keep it from wiggling around on you. it's not the drill, and it's not the bit, it's you. just do the laser pointer, so much easier.
I know. Now it is primered grey except for the top fairings so now it looks like a Ghetto MV Agusta. I might sand it again and clear coat the bitch as is since everyone seems to like it that way.
Hey, I bought a set off ebay and the seller didn't really help in giving any pointers on how to do it yourself simply, I found this video and did it in a snap, sorry no "laser", thanks, Good Job!
the no cut sliders suck, it dont take much to bend them into the eng (often cracking case) now you have fairing AND eng damage! just get real sliders and cut it properly, im recording a vid of a fool proof and super accurate way to cut slider holes, check my vidz soon.
You should have edited your video. Should have only been a minute or two long

there is a way to do it.. without guessing... the correct way with proper R&G protectors.

How thick can one bloke be you killed a good bike, people like him dont deserve motorcycles. The bloke a cock!!!!

I bought the bike practically totaled and rebuilt it on my own with no help. I have put roughly 12,000 miles on it in less than a year.
Most motorcycle owners can't change their own oil. I've rebuilt the carbs.
Dumbass.

use some masking tape on the area you're gonna drill to make it a cleaner cut. Works wonders.

CBR600 F3s don't have that option. You have to drill no matter where you stick it.
The cloest exposed peice of metal from the front is the footpegs
AtlRacerBoyz 4 years ago
or you can get the one where you dont need to drill a hole.
