  • @ANGELO13111 Thank You Angelo013111 !

  • Wow! Shit needs to be pressed on wax asap!

  • @hultacklet Would love to press to vinyl. Thanks for checking the videos !

  • good enough to listening it as background music for the entire song

  • hell yeah. this is awesome

  • @lviabobby Thanks for the positive comment!!

  • Loving this!!! :)

  • Shake your boo-tay! Whoo! This will put you in a House trance. Euphoria, man! :)

  • @standoutBfree Glad it moved you. Thx

  • 5:57 OMG You have three arms!!!!!! I must be tripping. O_o

  • @magnuspater Good Eye !

  • dj sneak records most his tracks live

  • basic channel!

  • awesome setup, very simple but effektive, wonder if one could make a gig consisting of more than 2 hours of non boring entertaining minimalmusic with this

  • lose the 5,6,7,8 crap

  • HE'S GOT THREE ARMS.

  • Well, that's great.

  • Forget the haters man. Analogue and Digital are awesome in their own respects. And great quick performance. Most people need to also understand that doing something like this in only nine or ten min is basically only a demo. Most acid I listen to ten min is like a radio cut. As far as live goes.

    Great demo man.

  • @BaroqueTrancer Hey Thanks a lot !

  • I love this!!! I miss my Juno 106. I'm a (semi)retired music-maker, and regret getting rid of some of my old toys, including My DX-27, Juno-106, DR-5, and my old accordion which my wife threw away. :(

  • @cjv2c

  • @cjv2c

You should throw away the wife!!

  • geile session (*_*)

  • Can't beat a nice bit of Acid. Cheers mate :-)

  • Arguing takes away from the music... A method is a method is a method, and every one has their own. mb33139's method just rocks more than some people's ;)

Good stuff! I don't listen to acid too often, but when I do, I make sure to find good stuff. And I've found some. Woo!

  • @YAS62ftw THANK YOU! Your kind words are appreciated !!!

  • @mb33139 Hey, just spreading the good will! Cheers

  • very nice bassline! hardware forever!

  • Soulful acid...

  • Dang I need a tb 303...

all i can get my hands on right now is a microkorg.

  • And youre complaining about your MICROKORG????????? what the fuck, screw you damn fool its one of the best synthesizers ever made

  • @darkshiningstar3 : One of the best toy synthesizers ever made, maybe... ;¬)

  • Oh thats ridiculous, just cuz its a mini synth you call it a toy, you dont know anything about synths thats obvious

  • Yes, because it's a half-sized synth I call it a toy. It's just a simplified version of the MS2000 with a bare minimum of front-panel controls, which limits live creativity. And menu-driven interfaces discourage serious programming.

Oh, by the way: I've been using synths since 1981 and currently own eight (including an analogue poly and two VAs), so I think I have a vague idea of what they are and what they do, thanks!

  • @thisisnev Yeah right mr dictionnary youre problably one of those digital haters and crap, yeah i might agree that analogue gave way more control but damn even if its digital, its still a synth, so shut up with your nostalgia bullshit

  • Sorry if my literacy offends you. Maybe if you'd paid more attention at school, you might have figured out that 8 synths minus 1 analogue leaves 7 digital ones. That hardly makes me a digital hater. And crap. If you must throw insults, at least throw accurate ones!

For the price of a Microkorg, you can get a far more powerful synth on eBay. It might not be quite as hip, of course...

Now stop shouting at grown-ups and go back to playing with your toy, or it's off to bed with no supper for you.

  • touch down :D

  • @darkshiningstar3 well... the microkorg is a nice little synth capable of some interesting stuff, in fact is a very usable piece of gear... but it is not at the same level as MANY other synths (any nord lead, any DSI...)... mainly because it limited interface wich does nothing to help sound programming... i own a microkorg but i would never say is in a the top10, not even in the top30...

  • @mynmyself

Exactly, the microKorg is cool but the tiny keys and only 4 characters in the LCD screen with the matrix-table style programming system kills it for me. For the price that they go for you can get an MS2000b which is microKorg's older brother and does not have the arpeggiator lagging bug like the first edition Korg MS2000

  • Now, YOU'RE into the sounds! Gotta love that little dance the whole way through. I love dancing like a spastic to squarepusher's drum n bass stuff.

  • simply awesome!

  • heeeeyyyy meeeeen!!!

    That s fantastic!!!!!!

    keep the acid alive!!!!!

greetz from a goa trance fan face

  • Thank You fatoaabelte !

  • Yep, this is fantastic. I also produce acid music (at hobbyist/computer level) - I would love to get some analogue gear, but price is prohibitive to me at the moment, what are your thoughts on vsti's - your tunes are so cool - do you have releases or only on YT? Thank you - for last 20 years my passion is acid and psytrance music and keento hear all the new (high quality) stuff I love. Just gets better as the timer bar moves on!!!! (enough ass-kissing!!)hehehhe! thanks man

  • Thanks for the positive vibe again! There are some cool Vsti but really enjoy the hands on the knob/slider tweaking, have for quite some time now. Just releasing some practice stuff on YT at the moment. Working on a e.p. of just this stuff that will be released by us.

  • @straightedgearsonist Hiya, I've also been into acid music for the last 20-odd years (you just cant beat a bit of acid for the soul(!)) - can you send some? Ive made a couple of tunes at hobbyist/computer level but they're more deep house than anything else. Would love to hear what you've produced... :o)

  • @AmandaLomas1 woop woop - I'm gonna post something I'm working on just now - I'd describe it as acid techno, but I hate to categorize on YT cos of all the experts who'll say 'that's not acid techno, that's progressive acid trance with a hint of electro'' etc etc - you get the picture - I'm just in the arrangement phase at the moment and will give you a shout when it's done (but don't go expecting pro!!) hehehe - good to hear from a kindred spirit!

  • @straightedgearsonist yeah its sure good to hear from a kindred spirit lol! Theres not enough of us out there these days lol!!!! :o)

  • @straightedgearsonist thats not acid techno dude

  • awsome acied keep it comin

    peace

  • Thank you and peace to you

  • This is one mental tune! Lovin it - if you ever get this released on vinyl I'd be first in the queue!

  • Thanks for the positive vibe!

  • You should release this on vinyl. The Acid bassline is incredible.

  • @Max16032 Thank you! we would love to get it pressed...

  • i agree with that i could kill to get this old school acid sounds on vinyl cuz today i cant find any acid house records..only classics

  • amazing sounds! I hope to get a 303 myself in the future, don't have the money though;). This video keeps me dreaming about it

  • theres definitely a latino influence going on in this rhythm! excellent!

  • Thanks Djmixmastermicro ! We like the tribal flavor toms bring to the table..

  • i think you were definitely around in 1986 right? this is like a trip back to Chicago 1986.. the BPM in 80s house was slower than 90s house and techno.. it was minimal, not like the 90s minimal from europe which TRIED to sound minimalist.. but like the original 80s chicago acid house that was NATURALLY "minimal" because thats all they had to work with at the time. :D great!! make more like this! ;D

  • Thanks for the positivity ! And yes we were around in 86. Actually bought the 909 in the vid that year at a local music store for $175...

  • watch?v=cWiKiMRKLfQ

  • acid will never die...........!!!!!!!!!11111elf

  • Acciiiiiid

  • DEEEP!

  • chapeau bas! :)

  • Great sounds, Great Work !

  • Grazie mille! for the positive vibe..

  • this is the shit!

  • pfffff im jumping!!! nice nice sound really!!! :D

  • Thank You zuriaza !

  • man what a great sound... respeckt on go on so ;-)

  • Thanks !

  • I love this low tom around my head >:D

  • beautiful sound!!!!!

  • THANK YOU !

  • Wooo!

  • Outstanding :oO

  • Nice! TB303 4life ;) 5*

  • Does anyone no if you can use another memory card other than the one that can with the tr909

  • where can i get a Korg KMS 30 for my 808 and 606?

  • Hi! I would like the MP3 track of this one, can you send it to me???

  • I'll send you a link as soon as I find the MP3...

  • five, six, seven, ten :)

  • Great!

  • Analog FTW

  • this is fuckin awesome im working on my acid heaven stay tuned!

  • Yes this is serious acid music!!!! perfect!!!! Thanks a lot for the upload! more, more, more :D

  • Your set up proves the point quality is better than quanity. Nice beat man. Why have u got a din sync convertor though? can you not use the tr 909 for midi and din sync masterclock?

  • Thanks.. I think that limiting yourself to a minimalist setup optimizes the creative process. As for the sync box, using the 909 as the tempo master and syncing out to the 303 would work, but we wanted to send MMC to the Zero 8. The KMS30 allows sync or midi slave or master. Much more flexible this way..

  • """I think that limiting yourself to a minimalist setup optimizes the creative process.""" ...i have been theoretiticizing about this lately...yes...i came to the same conclusion...and keeps the cortisol levels down too.

  • Totally, man. It's like a guitarist throwing away his effect units and plugging straight into an amp. Suddenly he is left with no option but to create MUSIC. Scary at first, but it is amazing how some peoples' creativity can turn a limit into a new infinity of possibility. It's also good for revealing how good a bit of melody or ostinato and some simple harmony can sound.

  • Sorry i had no idea about the zero 8. Yeah though i totally agree. I was watching some jeff mills videos on here where he was doing a gig in japan with basically a TR 909 and couple decks, and it was amazing what the build up he was driving out of this machine. I am too pure for a 303, but it inspired me sync my tr 606 and mc 303 together for sum vintage house jamming, please have a look once i finally worked out how sync my dvd videos to rip to the computer lol

  • sounds good

  • Emulator III was way too expensive then. How much did you get it?

  • Paid $425 back in 2001 @Guitar center.

  • Wonderfull!!

  • I Like It.

  • Inspiring! I wish I could make a track like this! all that gear looks great too!

  • Thank You !

  • nice pattern-programming on the TB

  • Thank You ! I enjoyed your videos,motiv8ing...

  • that's fuckin cold..

  • what is the delay effect from, is that the zero8 onboard fx doing the delay?

  • Yes, from zero8.

  • oh jeah that's the fat 909's kick.. yay!

  • very nice...

  • lovverly jovverly :-) tah

  • the "TB303" is GOD!!!!!

  • jus played your track on 2media players 20 secs apart.........it was amazing

  • i like it

  • Hell you get points just on the EIII being in the equation. And its a great Seq.

  • Considering the setup, what would you do differently?

  • ignore that fool, this was fantastic from beginning to end.

  • thanks for the positive vibe !

  • Lame or not, a good rule of thumb is to do a variation of the killer 303 pattern you just came up with and make sure it has shitloads of accents. Then you null out the accents and switch between the two patterns.

Also fiddling around with the drums some more is nice. Drop them out a couple of times, switch a pattern. Do the sweet 909 snarerolls etc :)

But of course, live jam is a live jam and internet is shit.

  • WOW YOU ARE KOOL GUYS ACID FOREVER BRO KEEP IT LIVE MY VIDS ON SOON KEEP AN EYE OUT electrofreak02 IS COMING SOON

  • Pure class. You guys are lucky to won both the classic 303 and 909. Great stuff. I am not jealous ;)

  • i thought for a sec that you found out how to switch patterns on the 909 by midi command :D but now i read that there was another person involved, Fair play to u lads, nice sound, Can i ask what sort of fx/comp is over the HiHats??

  • Well, the hats are run through a channel on the Zero8. That channel has a Delay running 3/8 to tempo and also a steep lo pass and hi pass filter. Each of these fx are being tweaked live by the second person. We should of had a shot of the 2nd person working the Zero8, but didn't think of it. As for switching patterns on the 909 via midi, I would have simply wrote the patterns to a song and sync'd that. But this is live :)

  • cool, how did you sequence the 909?

  • Thanks! The 909 is running the same 2 bar pattern. The changes you are hearing are done live via a second person running the Zero8. We sent each sound (909) to a separate channel on the Zero8 and bring them in/out by hand live. Same goes for the 303.

  • that was cool!

  • Thanks!
