Question, I have done the steps you mention, but the last object in the circle is of an inferior quality than the first one. Just as if PS has an copier. That slowly makes your image look lighter and less crisp.
I wondered what those buttons were for, and I noticed these tools in Keynote for mac so thats why I thought, maybe photoshop can do the same thing. This is going to be s time saver for sure!
Oh, so you just happen to already be an expert in Photoshop? You didn't research tutorials, or look up how to do anything at all? Didn't ask someone else how to use a particular tool or find an easier way of doing things? Congratulations for being a know it all. I'll stop asking questions now.

It's like asking someone, who have just shown you how to make ball shapes with PlayDoh, how to now make square cubes with it. Don't they teach you how to "figure things out" on your own in kindergarten anymore???
I'd like to point out that the array tutorial of this video uses a completely different technique of making duplicate graphics spaced evenly and in a circle.
To do the same in a straight line, you'd do something else, using the alignment tools. You don't learn without asking questions, either to someone else, or to one's self. Don't think that I didn't think first about where this option would be, I looked into it. But thats why we have teachers, to teach us, so we question other possibilities.
This is a pretty good tutorial. However, this method also works with vector shape layers (not just rasterized as stated in the tutorial) - you don't even have to make a selection of the vector shape you just click on the vector mask.
I notice as each cirle is duplicated, the spacing stays consistent, but if you want to complete the circle the spacing might not work out to be even when it butts up against the first circle. Is there any way to ensure that the space is even all the way around the pivot point?
A friend of mine has a mac... he paid 2000 euros for it... to bad there are almost no games for macs and you barely find software.. + you can get the same performance with a 1000 euro PC... poor mac users. Anyway I didn't know the array thing in photoshop :)
i really cba (cudn b arsed) telling you how much better macs are, i used pc for 7 years then changed for the past 4 years. But yeh ur rite about games, dey only have about 20 EA games, and a couple of hundread others, and they are only about 5 times more efficiant, and yep u can find software and LOTS of it, as in a thing caled parallels where you can get EVERY windows, linux and mac program running parellel. but woteva ;) enjoy your Viruses, Freezing and Blue Screen of Death.
