  • Great cover and lesson pete, thanks a million.

This has very quickly become one of my favourites to play, I'm just loving it, I play two songs then end up doing this one again! Never ceases to mystify me how Noel can take a few of the most basic chords and turn them into a masterpiece!!

I try daily with all the usual Noel chords to write something and come up with naff all!!! I bet you've got a couple of Noelesque songs you've written? ever thought of uploading an original?

  • @ShelsleySpecial Nah - I'm no songwriter. Honestly, it doesn't particularly interest me. But I never cease to be in awe of people who can do it, especially as you say how Noel can just manufacture such genius out of the simplest chord progressions.

  • Another great cover, good stuff...

  • Peter - just curious - Do you like Neil Finn / Crowded House stuff - ?? Some great acoustic songs in their catalog.

  • Yes I do. I've do have a couple of Crowded House covers uploaded.

  • This is great

  • Top man!

    greetings from Argentina

  • Top cover, my friend.

  • dude when are you going to do Nena, 99 Luftballons? C'mon...

  • Great job!! Max of score, my friend!!!!

    Take care:

    Franco.

  • Thanks Franco

  • Ya, I uploaded it now. Not as good as yours but thanks for the tutorials, definitely the best Oasis help on the net.

    Cheers

  • Best song on Dig Out Your Soul, closely followed by the Turning

  • You reckon. Personally my fave is Bag It Up closely followed by Waiting For The Rapture. Top album aye!

  • I reckon it the worst of their seven studio albums, but that makes it my seventh favourite album ever.

Bag It Up's a great song, but I'm iffy on Waiting for the Rapture. I love Noel's acoustic version though.

  • I really like DOYS (although Soldier On is very weak). I'd personally put it ahead of Heathen Chemistry, Don't Believe The Truth and Be Here Now though. Still, like you say, all brilliant albums in their own right.

  • fantastico!! enhorabuena desde España

  • Awesome! Greetings from The Netherlands!

  • love it mate keep it up

  • One word-QUALITY! Top cover from one of the geniuses finest moments. Many, many thanks. You look like you were really into that one matey. Cheers.

  • excellent. I'm always looking forward to oasis covers by you.

  • NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEE MAN!!!! This is one of the best songs from their final album! Good work.

  • Thanks Peter one more time.

  • lovely!

  • absolutely awesome son!!

  • Odd. I covered this song yesterday but haven't uploaded it yet. It's only odd because I watch all your vids lol.

But top cover. I never understood " catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly."

  • Ain't no one gonna top that except maybe NG! Loved it
