  • Thanks for the recipe. The peanuts look delicious. My sister tried out a similar recipe once but it ended up in failure because she had not toasted the peanuts in the early stage. You can imagine how awful the half-cooked peanuts tasted.

    I will tell my sister about the need to toast the peanuts.

  • there is a few recipes that are like this but are from different cultures, such as two from japan,

    hot and spicy,

    and from mexico

    cuachoates, and wasabi and now this one.

    i would like to find these in a store, and try them.

    I tried out this with the malaysian peanuts my friend had got for me. It turned out very well. Had my father been alive I would have definetly prepared this for him as he loved that so much.You have a wonderful patience and i was just wondering how lucky your children and grand children are to have such a wonderful person around and i did imagine you and your granddaugther eating the apple pie. :)

    I am so happy.I remember when I was like 6 years old,we had an indian lady as our neighbour,she used to make these in her oven.and we loooooooovvvvveddddd them :) Now, its been almost 20 years since I ate those peanuts,and lost contact with her,I still remember the taste of her cooking.

  • how would pistachios turn out probably break up or something..... great to see loads of vegetarian youtube vids... is it possible as a request to do something very spicy with some form of beans and perhaps even cooked into a pressure cooker? not enough pressure cooker recipes on youtube that are vegetarian...cheers

  • I have to agree... there is something satisfying in seeing how crunchy things are or how they look on the inside. If you don't try your foods, at least cut into them a little so we can experience what the product is like! :)
