I use adobe all the time on imac on lion never have any problems whatsoever..i use it everyday for hours, unless its a hardware problem to that specific machine i suggest a software update..but even this shouldnt be a problem..reinstall adobe software

@TheMuhammad08 i use Lion on the MBA but havent bothered changing the imac to lion as i'd rather have 2 seperate operating systems just in case. Both are good but theres something about snow leopard (e.g. spaces) that i like over lion. Yes, Lion has got its mission control thing but i think the way spaces works in SL is better than Lion.
