  • That's pretty sick man well done

  • @Attractor1 Thanx man!

  • I have that same amp, but what medal board are you using. I have an ME-70 and it is way too much for a solid state amp.

  • Coooooool.

  • @smilingscottsman Than man!

  • That was amazing Rob, absolutely great !!!!!!!!!!!

  • wow cool have to try it!

  • @xXElroMXx It's a fun technique!

  • Yes when I transcribed it I played it traditional style (normal) then i decided I wanted to play it in my lap

  • OK, let's see if my vid comment turns up here too, so people know what I am talking about... At least I don't have turn my guitar on to the lap, it can be played the normal way, still hanging on the neck.

  • Huh? I deleted just one of my doubled posts but both disappeared..what am I doing wrong?! Sorry for disrupting our dialoge.

  • @Rob919Gore Of course your's better. You seem to have an "explorer" mentality that I like. In your playing I mean... But I wanted just to show that bagpipish technique with the pick side instead. Adrian does that. He just noodles around and don't play a real tune as such... One question: can you do that without having the guitar resting on your lap? I mean holding it the ordinary wqay?

  • Also (I am blabbing away here) if you happen to own one of these Fernandez guitars with Sustainiac or sustainer pickups which makes a string feedback forever, you will get there even better. An E-bow which is similar, renders your hand busy holding that device, so it will not work. Keep up the good work rob!

  • Very good! A couple of chorus fx on top of this and reverb and delay (loop delay as a drone), it will sound like a whole bunch of bagpipes. Doesn't it get better if you tap with the side of the pick instead? I used to use stone pick or steel pick to achieve that "chirping" sound when bagpipe players change holes and does the "drills".

  • @MatsOrbation Thanx for the kind words!

  • @MatsOrbation Maybe I wanna do it more organically without effects =)

  • talent. just talent.

  • bagpipe only , you can play both the chords and melody?

  • Hahaha awesome dude!

  • from a piper and guitar player....that was pretty damn cool!!!!!

  • Yo you wouldnt happen to have tabs for this would you?

  • omg! hahahahaha

  • Awesome job. Has an almost haunting sound. Makes me wish I had an electric guitar.

  • awesome !

  • Hey bro! Awesome! I have been messing around with that tune using the same idea for 15 years. You, however, blew my version away. Fantastic!

  • that was....amazing wow dude good job

  • sounds incredible

  • You have a real talent for tapping, well done, sounds just like a bagpipe.

  • this is fucking insane!!!! =]

  • Hehe, thats funny, and even sounds more than a bagpipe than most of the bagpipe sound son a keyboard, etc. ;-)

The only time you hear that it is a guitar is when you play the gracings, but apart of this... Brilliant!
