its a beautiful thing to see now all these years later that john's likeliness to be honest in interviews rather than give answers to appease the masses. as early as '64 he refused to be a phony responding to tough questions regarding religion and such. its not that he just assumed this position to be a defiant hippie to stay cool or whatever. he was real and genuine in '64 as he was in '69, '74, or 2011 !!!!!

I also loved the way he looked up until 67, when he started growing his hair long. he looked great in this video, and the interview was polite and respectful, unlike some of those interviews back then who were so rude to the beatles and asked rediculous questions.

i love john in interviews. he's so candid. he's one of those people you'd love to just sit down with in a restaurant somewhere and have a long conversation- get his thoughts on every subject. in other interviews he's so like that- whatever anyone asks him he answers honestly and candidly, off the top of his head, whatever subject it is. you don't ever feel like he's being careful or trying to hide anything.

that's got nothing to do with ''god'', he was interested in Hare Krishna and wrote ''jai guru Deva om'' in across the universe so there is a possibility he believed in re-encarnation but probably not. he didn't care whether god existed or not, he probably didn't believe in any god, religious beliefs are either based on faith or ignorence, as science proves all religions wrong but people choose to believe that science is ''The Devil'' so he probably believed only what he could prove.
