I've had ringing in my ears for the past 10 years. The first few years it drove me nearly insane, however, i have learned to deal with it and block it out. Recently I've developed vertigo so I'm in the process of going to an ENT doc and seeing what can be done. Hopefully since your video you have found some relief.
hey emily i just sent some vids tell me what u think im new tp this il;lness and am trying to cope best and try to get some relief please me some adive or jus point me to the direction thnk you soo much good luck on your journey
I had this for 8 years and going to Doctors will not help. However I cured mine after learning about what you are eating in the food. Also look for Allergies, it can play a huge part also. I was allergic to almost everything and never had a runny nose or itchy eyes. I had a hair analysis and was loaded with heavy metals and after 5 bottles of Chelation therapy I am doing wonderful. Avoid Food Additives, check out msgtruth.org Hope you get better because this mess is Horrible!
Somebody I know, who does not have health insurance suffers from: Ringing in the ear, vertigo, diarrhea nausea, vomiting sweating, feels like you are losing control of your entire system. Strong episodes repeating about once every six months.. Usually goes from mild dizziness to full blown episodes in about 30 to 60 minutes. Within a week is back to normal, except a lingering mild dizziness and ringing...Has anyone experience these symptoms, in strong episodes?
whenever i lay down, flat with my head facing up, the room starts spinning. literally also whenever my head positions in a certain way i feel different levels of dizziness. sometimes very mild, and sometimes i can't even sit up straight without falling over. it's horrible. it's been going on for 3 years now Ive had a zillion tests done and they can't find anything wrong. sometimes i can't close my eyes to go to sleep without feeling dizzy. also sometimes i feel nausea from the dizziness. advice?
ive heard that lipo-flavonoid supplement pills,, lso im sure you ve been told a low sodium diet, no caffiene, no nicotine...helps alot......keep stress levels down...wish u well!
BWBLKS122-I'm glad I saw your video.I had my first attack when I was driving to work.Scared the crap out of me.I thought I was having a stroke.Like you,I have to sleep with a fan on,because the Tinnitus gets bad at night. And have to sleep where it's cool.Haven't been diagnosed with Meniere's yet,but pretty sure that's what's going on.The vertigo is the worst though.Best wishes to you,and thank you for the video,it helps to know I'm not alone and going nuts.
whats up, my name is Paul i just got back from the doctors today and they think i have meniere's. they gave me meclizine and valium. but it dont seem to help. i am 25 i pour concrete for a living and i have been missing alot of days i have no insurance. Life is hard write now and i know how you feel, i have been doing alot of reading about this meniere's and it is scary. i know there is nothing i can do to help you but i wish i could make it go away for both of us.
dont let the lies youve heard about marij, it really does help and no bad effects...ive taken lots of meds and had terrible effects.. but never any vertigo or being sick on marij.ive had for 5 yrs..I wish u lots of luck, and god bless!
So did they figure out the root cause of your problems? I have something called superior semicircular canal dehiscence syndrome that causes vertigo, tinnitus, and autophony, and is often associated with increased pressure in the head.
!!! Meclazine is a antiemitic (to stop puking) and and a Motion Sickness medication (to stop Vertigo ). It is the generic version of a Med. called "Antivert". Antivert used to be by RX ONLY but now you can buy it OTC. If you cannot find it just ask a pharmacy tech. or other employee in that
Department and they will tell and/or show you where it is. It is a useful Medication try it.
Everything can be cured. That is why more and more people are going to herbalist. I know couple people that got cured from tinnitus and from migraines and from dizziness by homeopathy doctors herbalist.
I did not mean everything but when it comes to vertigos and tinnitus and all of those diseases that can be cured by herbalist they know about that I know people that got cured by herbalist from vertigos, migraines , tinnitus and other diseases. Maybe you should try and go see one and see if they are going to help you instead of drinking those medicine pills that wont cure you they will just kind of control your dizziness but they will never cure it.
Panasonic295, you have no idea what you're talking about, and I sincerely hope you're not offering medical advice. Vertigo, migraine headaches, and tinnitus are all symptoms, not diseases. They are all caused by something else. In many cases, they are caused by physical injury to the inner ear. Do you seriously believe you can fix broken bones inside the skull just by taking some herbs?
Todd I know they are symptoms you had broken bones in your head you went to the surgery fine of course you have to. But you claim that you still have tinnitus in your video what Im telling you is that herbals can cure that same as migraines and dizziness by whatever is caused. I can tell you that i am offering you an medical advice because i know lots of people that got cured by herbalist from similar symptoms that you have take it as an advice or not i dont care...
Dont you want to get up in the morning without having ringing in your ears of course you do. I see on the videos that you are happy and everything that is good. But on the inside you are crying because you do want to get rid of noises in your ear. My advice go see an herbal see it for yourself instead of just drinking pills like meclinize because that just helps you control the dizziness it is not going to go away. I wish you all the best and I hope you take my advice and go see an herbal.
To the both of you...For 1) I am hearing impaired and was born that way, I have always had ringing in my ears, but not to the extent of what I had in APRIL. I have subsided ringing in my ears, that I can tolerate as of now. 2) I had vertigo, which was a symptom of an ear infection that caused the ringing and dizziness. Vertigo is not a disease panasonic. I was not taking Meclizine or whatever you call it, but I took an antibiotic for my infection and I took something for the dizziness.
3) My doctor has told me that the ringing has it location in my inner ear, which CANNOT be CURED. There is nothing he can do, as it is in a place where nothing can be done. 4) PLease dont give anyone medical advice unless you are a practicing doctor. I do not believe in those herbalist and i am not supporting taking prescription drugs either, but, I think a doctor knows a little more about something of this sort rather then you panasoic.
Thats ok no problem i wish you al the best. You do not have to believe in herbalist you can go and try it they are doctors too they just specialized in herbs and natural healing. I know people that got cured from tinnitus and other stuff. I know that dizziness is not disease it is a symptom you dont have to tell me ok. You dont want to help yourself and at least go try see an herbalist that is your problem you are going to have to live with that i know im fine and healthy good luck all the best.
Todd, thank you for standing up for yourself and myself as well. I am sorry to hear you might have an injury to your ear. I hope everything works out for you. I do find though that when I have a proper sleep schedule, my ears to ring less, but I do continue to sleep with the television on. Thanks for your comments.
Panasonic, please do not tell me what I am feeling. I am fine, and thanks for your concern
I am not telling you what you feel just trying to tell you that there is other help out there instead of just going to doctors and drinking antibiotics and those pills that do not help a lot. I am not concerned i am healthy and i know people that went to herbalist and got cured they are fine today no ringing no dizziness nothing. But you do not believe that is fine you live with whatever you have i wish you all the best. Some people just dont want help :).
How bad does the dizziness get cause i have vertigo but not ringing in my ears have gotten better because my vertigo comes and goes without warng and i gotta say its the most scarry feeling in the world id rather get punched in the face everyday then feel like that ever again i feel for you on the vertigo trust me well take care hope you get better i really do.
Same here it feels like its not going go away ive had about 4 attacks since 2008 in dec. and i feel dizzy all the time i take xanax for the anxiety it brings i have good days and bad days it sucks though worse part about it i bet people with hiv and some kinds of cancer feel better than me cause i see them being able to do more stuff
Tinnitus isn't a disease, it's a symptom, so it can't be cured as such, but sometimes the underlying cause can be addressed and the tinnitus, which is just a general term for noise in the ear, can be lessened. Tinnitus is common in people with hearing loss. Perhaps try masking the sound at night using a fan, or white noise generator, something for your ears to focus on other than the ringing. About 50 million people in North America have tinnitus. You are not alone.
I was diagnosed with Meniere's last March. Try a low sodium diet. Also, try to avoid caffeine. This really helped my vertigo and tinnitus. Ginger works well to relieve nausea . I like ginger snap cookies. Also, ask your doctor to refer you to someone to perform a MRI, hearing and an ENG test, which tests your balance. These test results will help your doctor determine if you have Meniere's or a tumor. Please let me know how things turn out . Best of luck and may God bless you!
I was diagnosed last week. my doc said to take meclazine pills and it will go away? is he just not up to date on info with this? i have never heard of it. I am feeling so sick i want to die at times. will it ever go away??
Umm, mine has not gone away. I have researched it, and some people live with it for 20 years before it lets up. I have never heard of those Meclazine pills. I was taking Betahistine for the dizziness that sometimes comes along with Tinnitis/Meniere's Disease. I suggest not drinking caffeine. Sleeping with some noise so the ringing doesnt drive you mad and checking back with a doctor you trust/ an ear specialist. Good luck
I definately know how you feel. But, don't give up, it will get better. . My heart goes out to you. This is a nightmare of a disease. I have had it for a year and a half now. I can no longer teach and I'm on disability. i have tried Meclazine also. It didn't work. IT ACYUALLY MADE ME DIZZIER. my dr said it doesn't usually help people with true meniere's. I also take a fluid pill every day. they do take a while to work but they do help.
Mclazine didn't go with me either. I had the same feeling of feeling more dizzy and drowsy for 2 to 3 days following one dose of mclazine. Although most people said mclazine helps them during dizziness. I am just learning to RELAX when i feel it might trigger, and in general try to relax, catch up on enough sleep. and been on no-sodium (prettymuch) diet for close to 2yrs now - no outside food, no canned foods.
bwblks122, hope your dr apmt well with further reco to keep symptom in control
