Aww bless her! Sophie looks quite an elderly lady and like all Bassets, including mine, they love their food!

I give my two Bassets the dry Iams or Eukanuba and a small amount of Butcher's tripe (tinned meat) mixed in to give it a bit of variety.

It's in their nature to eat as fast as possible, so they'll make it through the "puppy days"

And a dog should NOT be overfed, it's animal cruelty to make a dog fat, because it will it as long as you give it food!

And that one cup of food per 10 pounds is not true, it depends on breed, sort of food and activity level how much food the dog shall eat!

And this dog is not starving!
