They do perform on an acoustic piano (as I assume that is what you mean by "real"; though I feel the need to state that they are both in fact real pianos, acoustic and electric), on occasion, but as an electric piano is more portable, you'll find that their television appearances and smaller concerts will include electric piano rather than acoustic. This was featured on neither of their albums, so I can only assume that this was ripped from a performance.

Maybe they aren't talented? Maybe they just practice alot. But in japan, can anyone really succeed as a serious preformer, and still earn the money they are raking in. But besides that, it isn't their idea prolly to be cute. They have a team of producers who make them look insanely cute.
Moving when you play is correct can!It looked even weirder when you sit there like a stone, dontlook like you are playing cos you are not moving with the music.feels nicer when you move too!Whys there just piics??
I remember hearing the orchestra at my school play this song last year. It ripped my heart out of my chest. It was so damm creepy it felt like the whole orchestra was possesed by satan. This isn't my faverite version because very few people are playing it. It sounds more powerfull with a full orchestra rather then a small ensamble. This has to be one of my favorite classical songs though. Thanks for uploading

I am not ignorant. I have seen the ballet, and found it brilliant, although the musical motif's were a tad too repetative for me. This song is a favourite of mine. But their preformance of it reduces it to elevator music. Really, using a synthesizer is very poor.
everyone should've been at my high school's orchestra/choir concert! they played this song... and the orchestra was MIND BLOWING! (I was sitting in the front, it was awesome!)
I didn't know it was a really important piece. This was actually my first time hearing it; however, I still think that yui's part with the violin is kind of creepy. Imagine walking outside and suddenly hearing that.
Kind of creepy? It's the most powerful piece of music ever created!! This is an OK version, a little on the weak side for my tastes. Just needs to make the sound fuller. Good though. Are this group very big in Japan?
well done!! :-)
I'm practising on piano ;P

No, this piece requires a furious vibrato throughout.
sparkos14 3 years ago
I'm playing this on violin at the moment...it really difficult!!
20monsta07 3 years ago
This would be perfect if they'd just get a real piano.

Of course they move a lot.
It's very obvious that they're passionate about what they do.
So they get into it.
I move a lot when I play instruments.

No, I meant the song just kind of scares the heck out of me. Sometimes when they move so much it gets annoying, but otherwise I like it.

I think this is basically elevator music.

It's from a ballet by Prokofiev, who wrote Peter And The Wolf.

Wow, Mariko plays her cello at an angle when she stands. I've never seen that before o_O.
