i can't believe i forgot about this song. this was so awesome. i felt so good after beating weil, and then after everything hinted that zero died, and finally when it showed zero's ruined helmet in the dirt after the credits, i cried. i fucking cried. not even aeris' death in final fantasy vii made me cry as much as when zero died in mmz4. oh my GAWD, that made me so sad!
well, theres not really much evidence to show if Zero really died or if he survived. If you notice near the end, you can see a figure standing near the side of a cliff that looks like a person. It could have been Zero. Until otherwise, Capcom aint gonna let the cat outta the bag.

what's your point? that didn't provide any evidence of zero being alive. zero has been absent for 100 years. there would only be two reasons why zero would be absent. 1) he was sealed away again (which just wouldn't make sense, why would anyone do that), or 2) zero is dead. if zero could he would fly around the world with ciel and uncover the mystery of the maverick outbreaks, because X would want him to maintain the peace.
also, why would inticreates go through all that to make it look like zero was dead, and then bring him back? i would just find that pointless and insulting. i can't tell you how stupid i thought x6 was.

Albert made that by using Weil's remainder for his power, and Serpent obtains one of em. Hope that makes sense bro. :)

I've looked into the argument that she would be repeating her past mistake with copy X, but that idea doesn't hold water because the biometals have the personalities and reflex memory of the beings they were based off of, thus they are qualitatively the same beings. Perhaps a lack of need? =(
I know this is 4 months in, but you make a good point. If the Biometals are to reflect the personalities and hold the souls (cyber-elves in cyberspace) of the fallen reploids, she could have just rebuilt them. Maybe with the power of the Mother Elf, she could have reconstructed them back, good as new.

Basically the new zero may act like the old one and even talk like the old one, but wouldn't be the old Zero. Same story for the rest of the bunch.
Model W was created long after Weil fused with Ragnarok. When Weil fused with Ragnarok, it became a part of him. So, even when he was destroyed and Ragnarok crashed, pieces of his conciousness remained in Ragnarok, and certain parts of that became Model W over time.
Most game companies do that cliffhanger thing where they show something in a game, sorta like the shadowy figure in MMZ4, and the player never knows who or what that is. Its sorta like what InitiCreates did in Megaman ZX Advent with the Secret Ending, where Albert says "This World needs to be reset".
actually Model L said that she "would enjoy the challenge of taking on the one who bested even the great model Z" or something on those lines. still kinda refers back to their past battles.
Zero's past had been hunting him for two series, and he's the one who (indirectly started the war). Ironic that the god of destruction was the one who finally achieved peace between humans and reploids. Weil is an appropriate final battle; he's the one responsible for all the pain. He's also a complet monster, and far more monstrous then any of the other antagonists (wily was camp, sigma was trying to do the right thing). So yeah, it's epic. I think of an absolution and DCOW would be epicer.
o wow this guy lol <.< remember that Dr. Wily created him, he created a monster, but ppl still loves him, he has X to support, while Sigma and Weil wanted destruction, he may spread viruses yeah, but thats Wily's fault originally. Right when Sigma bashed zero's crystal on his head that has the letter "W" the virus spread. Makes sense.
This theme really puts you into the feeling that this is most awaited battle that must be ended once and for all. Good Finally meeting Evil at the end of the road ready to make the other fall.
