  • Well now I Love this song and No man alive plays it like Chet... But among the living you do a mitey fine job indeed AND not even blowin smoke I think your vocal and phrasing even surpasses Mr. Guitars'. Dude you simply mastered it!

Thank you, can't stop replaying it,

  • Whilst being extremely grateful for your comment, I think that your use of the word great may be a bit of an overstatement LOL Thank you so much fro listening and taking the time to give me some encvouragement,

  • no worries mate

  • nice cover,

i was wondering, is the fingerpicking difficult or is it possible to use strumming or will it not do justice to the song, i hope you understand what im trying to say here ;)

  • The finger picking is not easy - but it's more about getting the correct 'feel' for the song... you can achieve that with a strum just as effectively as with the finger-pick. Give it a go... you may be pleasantly surprised!!

    Bets of luck

    regards

  • @eddields ok, tnx

  • Eddie,

Very nicely done. Chet and your Dad would both be proud. You are just like Chet, I can hear the love for your Dad in your voice...Wonderful. I lost my Dad on Christmas Eve in 2003. This song reminds me so much of him and the wonderful Father-Son relationship we shared for 49 years. He has been gone now almost seven years and "I still can't say goodbye". Thank you for sharing your song with me. You did a Great Job and yes you put tears in my eyes.

    Thank you,

    Mark
