@conansound You have to put it into context: Arguably the 2 best international teams of the day; in the World Cup; the greatest player in history (in many ppl's opinions) making an extremely powerful and accurate downward header, the sort he rarely missed and more difficult to save than a high shot/header. Yes, Banks followed the cross because he was a good 'keeper and was trained to do that, but THE BALL WAS PAST HIM and he still reached back and saved it, pulling it OVER THE BAR. Pretty good!!

Everything about this is beautiful. The pass to Jairzinho from midfield, his dribble to the dead ball line, his cross, then look how Pele climbs into the air and delivers the perfect header. Then the save, it's just unbelievably good. how does he travel that far, that fast, to get down to the ball? How does he lift it over the bar to safety? Incredible.

ale szajs! dziadek zobaczył że jest dośrodkowanie na dalszy słupek to do niego podbiegł i akurat wtedy Pele (strzelił trzeba powiedzieć że zajebiscie jak na dystans który go dzielił od bramki) , więc nie ma się co dziwić że obronił. When the ball bounces after the header, Banks is 2 feet away fron his right hand post, the side he saved. I can't believe people think this is the greatest save ever. People have this false idea he was at his left post when the ball bounced, look at it in slo-mo and you'll see he was over half way across when Pele headed and nearly at the post when it bounced.
