  • about 45 seconds chris

  • @josephamaker94 Toner,a dry powder

  • It's a very slow to start printing. Doesn't have WiFi. After changing my router, I called HP to get support for connecting the printer and they wanted $40 to support me!!!

For this money you can get a faster printer with WiFi at least....

  • @josephamaker94 They use toner which is like ink.

  • is this printer compatbile with windows 7 home premium? 64bit

  • im looking for a wireless color laserjet all-in-one, but hp doesn't hav one ;(

  • HP LJs = Made by Canon!

  • Please DO NOT buy the latest generation of HP printers until you have read the third party reviews from buyers like you and I. I bought the 1312 nfi after years of HP ownership ( they were the best by far), only to realize its the worst POS I've ever used. Horrific software that DOES NOT work, and a "support" dept that cannot recommend a fix. That's just the start. Read the reviews if you don't believe me. Mine is 4 months old and you can have it for $200 if you like.

  • I'm sold on color laser printers , now they are cheap just make sure you get one that can use 3rd party toner. Just like bubble jets they try to force you to spend a fortune on ink/toner....

  • @josephamaker94 They use toner. Which is different from ink, as it never dries out. A laser printer uses heat to heat up the cartridge and apple it to the paper.

  • lol eventually when we have like fucking Photo Sybnthesis printing people will be laughing at this video "...haha, this guys excited over a minute, fuck, were printing full color 4000 dpi images in a milisecond.."

  • I like laser jets because you never have to refill ink, you could print for 80 years non stop so long as you have enough paper, and not worry about running out of ink :-)

  • this printer is really crap why is he saying it is good?

  • Alrighty, I got 52.1 seconds 0.o

  • 48.7secs

  • i got 48.5 seconds on my stopwatch

  • loser

  • it uses cartridges, but they area a litle more expensive and also a little bigger

  • I've printed around 1200 pages and I have not replaced it yet.

  • It uses toner, not ink.

  • I used the stopwatch on my iPod - it took it 48.9 seconds to print.

  • I've been using the HP LaserJet 4000 since 1999. Cost me $1000. Black and white. I've only changed out the cartridge twice. And I print stuff out almost every day. But after 10 years, the cartridges are hard to come by. So - even though the printer still works flawslessly, I'm in the market for a new printer. I think this is the one. About to order it online.

  • I've always considered LaserJet color much better than inkjet. I'm about to buy this printer for $329.00! BTW - Pixie is adorable! I love how she's been sitting there watching you and the camera! LOL!

  • where did you find it for 329.00?

  • Glad you asked. I'd forgotten this post. I realized later that I had the model number incorrect. The price I quoted was for a lesser model. And not one that CNet recommends.

  • i haven't had the best experience with hp in the past couple years. my hp printer never wanted to print it would say it was jammed when there was no jam, my gf hp printer would randomly not work, and my parents hp printer keeps uninstalling on its own. not to mention my hp computer died after a year and a half. so i dont go anywhere near hp anymore.(maybe i've just had bad luck with hp) im very happy with with my canon pixma.

  • nice review but you could have showed the printer, and given some technical specs....

  • what screensaver is that on his computer?? its cool..

  • called flying windows, ironically it's Mac

  • I love HP Printers...

I dread the day my beloved PhotoSmart C4480 dies...

  • HOW do you print #10 envelopes????

  • we got a hp color laser printer and a ink jet for hi def photos and a hp scanner and 13 computers

    so im covered

  • Nice plug for a printer that's not been released yet by HP. Also it's more for the business user. That price you mentioned definitely came from a rep at HP since it's not priced at their website. Also you should mention to the subscribers that it requires 4 cartridges priced at $65 for the CYM and $69 for black. That's a lot of money for toners.

  • This is a fucking infomercial. Shameless. Sellout.

  • Exactly... Chris's vids are boring now anyway...

    R.

  • I Still have my LaserJet 4+ From 1994 XD

  • haha I've still got my Laserjet 5L its still printing black very well.

  • i closed the video the moment i heard "500 Dollars".

  • Probably prerelease MSRP. I'd probably expect it to be a little over $300. And it's an MFP. I'm pretty sure they have a color laserjet cp1210 for $299...

  • naderjunction, yea i saw this live too, took about 30 takes to finally get it right, was LMAO! all nite! hhaha!

  • funny thing is that just about every one of my printers has been a hp printer.

the one Dell printer i had, broke on me on the hard ware side. but nvr had a problem with the HP printers. i actually replaced it with my first hp printer, definatly quality products.

  • that picture looks cool.well i love hp brand.

hehe fast.thats cool less than 1 minute.:)

  • i was watching this live took so many takes lol

  • im probably going to buy one

  • I have to say that is one great printer!

  • how much is the toner for the color and black ink?

  • the price of printers for mac is SO much more expensive than those of pc and its so annoying, my printer i had (also an inkjet) only works with windows so i have to save my work to my pen drive and THEN plug it into my windows xp machine (shudder) thats the only connection i have to windows at the moment and i want to get rid of ittttt!! any cheap printers for mac?

  • I toner cartridges are $64.99 at Staples which is cheap but only do 2,200 pages at 5%

  • I think that for color laser printers the standard is 20% coverage. More realistic.

  • ink and toner is measure by 5% because a normal text page coverage is 5% black and 95% white.

  • black and white toner is measured at 5% coverage but colour is measured at 20% coverage.

  • wow nice printer, wanna get one of dem :)

  • Sure looks like Pixie dosent understand a darn thing about that monster..

  • verry nice printer

i would totatly like to get that printer

  • Thanks for the review Chris! I am going to go buy one!

  • cause its annoying

  • lmao how does it affect u in rl? do u get depressed?

  • 48 secs

  • Cool!

  • the dog stands here

  • I'd love to see you draw something in MS Paint and print that on that baby!!

  • Sexond comment!

    really great :)
