the 1st mack probably used to have a HI-LO airhorn, but the acutator or what ever changes the tones, broke, and they just hooked a chain on and used it as regular fire truck do
old fords and macks from the 70's, some of them had HI-LO Sequencers on their grover horns and they eventually wore out, and they just used a regular valve like all other rigs had/have
at least that is what happened with my dad's old department's 75 ford
