  • Great tip!

  • does this work on the acrylic hooks too? those dang things dont slide very good

  • @txsunshinecowgirl I would think it would work. I only have the large acrylic hooks so I have not tried it yet.

  • I'm not sure if anyone else does this, or if they sell something for this purpose, but when i take a break from a project for awhile, i take my hook out and put a clip on the loop where the hook goes, I use those little Carabiner type clips jus cuz i happen to have a package of them, but ive used keychain clips, even hair clips work, Especially when your traveling or something so you dont have to worry about your work getting pulled out :)

  • I use those tiny hair claw-type clips, too. They work extremely well. I was so surprised to see that someone else uses them too. I also use stitch markers made colored paper clips; I found the directions online. They work well also.

  • I might just start vacationing for the sole reason of gathering soap, shampoos and conditioner for the homeless shelter downtown. I actually never thought of doing that before.

  • @SniffyTugBoat You would be surprised at how quickly they add up during a 7 day vacation.

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!! @Micotori143

  • I do not think I have ever had that problem but that's a great tip for if I ever rub into that problem visiting family :)

  • That is a good idea. I will have to try that.

  • no big deal to me.

  • sueño que algún día pueda escuchar sus vídeos en español de verdad me encanta sus clase y e aprendido mucho gracias Dios te bendiga siempre

  • I have never experienced this but I live in Alaska where it is cold and dry.

  • u can also u talc powder

  • where do you get the cover for your hook, or do you make them?

  • Theyre just those soft pencil grippers. I get mines @ walmart in the stationary section. They also say to hit the hardware section for some clear plastic tubing but I use tape or a rubberband then the pencil gripper. Just Google it. @Meshia2185

  • Thanks for your tip. Sometimes i use a soft moisturizing cream too. xx

  • Where are you from :)?

  • Thank you for the tip!

  • Oh yeah, sometimes I see those soaps that are see though have like a flower or something in the middle. Thanks for the tip.

  • thank you :D im happy with the result i am less annoyed haha

  • Thank God!!! I thought I'd never get rid of that sound. I cannot wait to try this.

  • :)

  • I love to use TINY hair clips for stitch markers. They're the kind made for babies. They're made like a crab claw(?) and are about as tall as a dbl crochet done with an h hook and worsted weight yarn. They are sooo easy to use when you need to move them. Thanks Theresa for all you do!!

  • Where did you get yourcrochet hook adapter. Sometimes my hands get so tired. That is one of the first things I noticed about your hooks. Thanks for your very comprehendable instructions and videos.

  • @funkydafodill they are Pencil Cushions you can find at any office supply store or walmart :)

  • @funkydafodill they also sell an ergonomic handle at Michaels craft stores. I threw away the paper from the packaging, so I wouldn't be able to tell you them name of the company that sells them :/ sorry. However, it comes with hook adapters to fit up to J hooks I believe, and its pretty wide, it helped a lot with helping my hands not cramp up and what not.
