  • Sound advice to anyone -

    I walk before I can run !!

  • When i got my CX2 i didn't use a training gear and i just took it really slow, and only getting light on the skids the first flight and then hovering the next flight. I don't think you need one because it can unbalance the heli and make it harder to get a nice hover.

  • yeah i didnt use the gear either i just took it kinda slow and now i got the hang of it

  • Good fist flight dude...keep the trainning gear on until you are sure you can take off and land without busting put the props.

  • training gears on blade cx2 funny =D

  • Why is that funny? EVERYONE that knows anything says to put the trainning gear on for firt time flyers. It lets you learn without spending $5 a day for new props.

  • cause the blade cx2 is uber stable to tip it over i dont know how anyone could do that with this type of heli

  • Dude...I have one and when I first started..there were many times it would tip on takeoff. Also, if there is the slightest breeze and you are a beginner, upon landing, many times the heli will tip enough to tap blades on the ground.

I still say if you're new, use the trainning gear even on a CX2.

  • About the best way to get discouraged learning to fly a RC heli is to crash right off the bat, tearing up and repeat buying repair parts when it can be avoided by using simulators and training gear. I,m with you,skid987
