does is it really matter?? We have similar foods, and we should be damn proud of it! And for the record, I'm greek cypriot but have many turkish friends. we laugh at all the similarities and embrace them. :)
no it'S not:) yes i know you have also same foods,dances,cultures.. some of yours is better than us , some of ours is better than yours.. many similarities coz we haved lived together many years..forever peace:)
Baklava, Helva (Halva), Cacik (Tzatziki), Musakka (Mousakka), Doner (Gyro), Turkish Delight (I don't know what the hell in Greek), Beyaz Peynir (Feta Cheese), Hummus are all Ottoman Empire's foods not only GREEKS or Turks.
as u know ottoman empire grow until viyana gates and south eygipt and east arabia these foods name used in ottoman empire same and u learn from there.

Tzatziki and Feta are greek.
Houmous is lebanese.
All the others are turkish. But Turkish Musakka and Greek Musakka are 2 different plates. They just have the same name.
