What are you talking about?! It takes skill and practice to use vibrato. The more vibrato you use, the more skilled singer you are and the more YOU CAN HOLD A NOTE. ALL great singers and vocalists can use vibrato effectively. Opera singers use it ALL THE TIME. Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, they all use vibrato. Vibrato means having the vocal ability and capacity to manipulate your singing. Vibrato and sustaining a note go hand in hand.
