Love the collection, keeps it's classic feel and peace walker is nice but 2&3 steal the show for me (3 is an all time favourite game), perfect conversion 10/10

I recommend playing 3-PW-2 the order on the menu

Just a shame they didnt provide a code in the box to download MGS 1 off the store.

peace walkers controls just seem to make the same boring and generic E.g crouch walking

Hideo Kojima and the team at Konami READ THIS PLEASE!!!! PLEASE re-make METAL GEAR and METAL GEAR 2:SOLID SNAKE. The MSX versions are dated. It'd be cool seing Solid Snake as a rookie being trained up by Gray Fox to take on Big Boss TWICE! Thats what made some of MGS1 so epic and would tie up alot of the story. @TheSushiNerd In my opinion you shouldn't play any of this games without playing Metal Gear Solid first or else you will get lost a bit on the story of Sons of Liberty and lose some epic "Luke I am your Father!" moments.

You can get it for PC so thats not really a problem ;)

I've been as happy as a pig in shit for the last five days playing this. The HD alone is amazing, and the full surround sound being added to the main games (not just the cut scenes as in the originals) is a huge bonus (the spacing of the audio and channel separation helps you to hear from where enemies are approaching), but the one thing that has blew my socks off is the transfer to full 16:9 widescreen. NOT cropped and zoomed, but with more info on the screen. Makes it beautifully cinematic.

OMG!!! These glitches are taking the piss now! I'm playing extreme mode on MGS 2 & I'm at the bomb disposal bit. I'm in the parcel room where you have to dispose the bomb on one of the boxes rotating round the room. But OMFG! There's no box what so ever going round at all! I've got a vid of some probs I've found but this has to be the biggest one yet. I've not even played the other 2 games yet & I don't think I'll bother. I can't believe this, I payed £70 for the limited edition of this game :-(

Dunno if it's the actual game that has these faults & people have had the same problems or if it might be zavvi giving away faulty discs cause that's where I got it from. I have Substance, Subsistence and Peace Walker on their original consoles, and this is the bees knees. 720p HD, full widescreen, full surround sound... exactly how is that a waste? I've enjoyed playing these more than any other games this year, so how does HUGE personal enjoyment = a "waste of money"?
