I feel the same way. I've had dreams too and it seems that the dreams of my father won over mine.

I also felt I gave a lot of support to my family and didn't get much in return.

I still wonder what the whole picture is for me, who am I going to affect in this life (or maybe I've already did) or maybe there's someone that needs to affect mine. I don't know.

It's so frustrating when you're in like a "play" in this life, and you were one of the actors not given a script.

And I was there for everyone, and I know what you mean, I did not get the support back. I as well wish I pushed harder and did not care about others that much., and took care of my self first. But ok, It took me 20 years, I finally discovered how things work, and I am happy life started to happen for me. And yeah, we are all connected for a reason, and the reason I found you is probably to learn, about chasing my goals, not giving up no matter how hard it gets. I'm glad I did, still learning tho

i think it made me a harder person but i think whichever choice id made i would now have regrets, sometimes whatever choice to make will come with regrets...you either have to except that not all choices come with that feel good guarentee, sometimes it boils down to one thing....life

When I was 17 my parents split up and i decided that withot me my mother wasnt strong enough to cope so i decided to go with her, that decision took up the next 20 years of my life, she would wreck any relationship i had as it would take me away from her and even when she left and moved abroad she came back after 7 years and resumed where shed left off...she died last november and the relationship was always strained so much i never let her meet my now wife and refused to let her visit...
