  • lol your belly smackin the floor!! awesome work bro hang in there!!

  • Fucking hell your form is horrible.

  • being able to do pullups at that weight is very impressive.

  • why aren't more people watching this!??!

  • Drew you are a hero because that's what hero's do help people to help themselves.Respect!!!

  • dude , you are my idol. you have made me want to exercise. ive been over weight my whole life. now im realy gonna try because of you. thanks man.

  • then I met your channel decided to improve my life, I'm from Brazil, my weight is well above average and had been having shortness of breath and all problems, as I'm youg (27) and still have time to regain good health, two weeks started doing a nutritional reeducation and I already feel the difference.

this exercise, only about once a month?? could be done at least once a week?

  • The most intereresting thing I noticed, as someone who has struggled with weight on and off throughout my life, is how much he was touching his belly and looking around. I've followed Drew's journey since the start and watching his confidence drop has been the thing i have connected with. Its not as easy to go to the gym and go hard when all you can think about is how big you are. And that others are looking. Keep up the good work Drew. Show everyone what is possible with "self" confidence

  • who is the camera crew folwing you around are you doing a reality show?

  • Kudos to you Drew - thanks for bringing yourself down to the level of the less fit for our benefit, and I'm glad you're just a normal guy. Wouldn't be the same if you preached with washboard abs and superhuman will...I bet most people wouldn't be watching if that were the case. I'll follow you back to fit brother!!

  • You are TRUE HERO. I would love to be so brave to do this by myself. You are really true example for us, simple people!

  • Question: when you drop back down to your normal weight again, are you going to have excess skin to worry about?

  • @Ksmoothie12 I would like to know this too, because I weigh about 242.5 lbs and my fear is about excess skin, especially on the abdomen where it is concentrated almost all of my fat

  • @coxao if you lose your weight slowly the excess skin will be minimal, don't worry about it. carrying less weight is too much fun to worry about excess skin. I do have excess skin, but it's all worth it man :)

  • Thanks a lot for your efforts. You have no idea what this means to so many people. You are a hero.

  • Even though you've gained weight, you are still incredibly muscular underneath. Most joes like me have never been doing weights. I can't even do five pushups!

  • @therichardchannel You gotta start somewhere! You will be able to do as many as him if you keep it up! Stay positive and power ahead!

  • I think this is amazing!! I downloaded your app! I love the first month is stretching and getting into shape and being prepared!

  • pretty impressed u even did a pull up

  • you look like you're wearing a fat suit. (means you naturally look like you have a nice body!) lol

  • get fatter mister....your belly is sooo sexy......

  • That's AMAZING. I don't even have enough strength to a single good form pushup (being 220 lbs and 5'4); I feel so weak XD

  • I always do pushups and situps every mornings and evenings.

  • Did more pull-ups than I could do, and I weigh less than you (same height)...clearly haven't lost all of your strength :-D

  • so why is it so important to stretch during the first month?

  • @myoungessex The idea is to reactivate the muscle tissue that been just sitting there. While stretching has many benefits, the main purpose here is to get them prepped and ready for exercise - so you don't injure yourself when you jump into a regimen.

  • For an average person with the same amount of weight cannot do 20 pushup. U done this b4 when u were fit, that why u r able to do it.

  • I think this might inspire me to get back into shape again. :)

  • How many pushups could you do, when you where fit? :)

  • you still got a lot of muscle under that fat.

  • @LoasthaGhost yeah ofcourse.. muscle dont just melt away:) but he still gotta work hard to get rid of that fat

  • @qawis I feel like my muscle just melted away. lol

  • I think the reason I like it so much is bc its baby steps!

  • That was great! Let's do this!

  • you're amazing !you give all the power! continues so!

  • Oh come on I'm sure u could of done more even at that weight I know guys almost 400lbs of mostly fat that could do more push ups way more chin ups but they are use to the weight and even after all these weeks maybe your not use to the added weight

  • I'm impressed with 3 chins and 20 pushups with that weight.

I am pretty fit and strong and with 35kg of plates attached to me to make me 125kg I can only do 2-3 lol.

  • I have never seen you so happy, you love being back in the gym

  • Best Idea i've ever seen.

    very impressive.

EVEN if I'm a very skinny guy , HARDGAINER, and trying to GAIN weight. I wish somebody can do the same, just from very skinny to muscular.

  • being back at gym working out = priceless.

  • keep going Boss

  • This deserves soo much respect !

I hope someone sponsors you, so that you may afford a new camera and stuff :D

You deserve it so much for what you are doing !

    BIG respect from Norway <3

  • as far as the video you could get a flip video camera and they take pretty good video and not real big or expensive.

  • before you started how many of each could you do?

  • At 2:23 you can see that the muscle hasn't gone away. It's still there, waiting to be exposed under all that fat.

You see! That's what a whole lifetime of good health does to you :)

  • I'm only 10kg overweight and I couldn't to 20 pushups if my life depended on it... I have enough trouble benching 30kg...

  • Why didn't you use the video from the good camera on the side?

  • Do Bench press and squats as well! Good Luck!

  • You care about people to show them how important it is health, how you spend your silhouette. Rapid return to form. You're a nice guy:) Your tips are very valuable.

  • Great exercises to start out with and i agree with "gourdbox" up there, don't be discouraged because you can't do as many pull ups, sit ups, etc right off the bat, this is a progressive transformation. For example, you can't run 3 miles if you haven't been running for a while to get up to that amount. You have to train your body get accustomed to these exercises. Bring a friend to work out with that ALWAYS helps! Best of luck to you all!

  • DUDE! Good job! Now when you have lost all the weight strap a 70 pound vest on and see how many you can do. It will be a good reminder of what excess weight you were actually wearing on your body. Not that you will ever want to remember. LOL!!

  • fat ppl cant do pushups, sory, thats why i think you will do it coz you got muscles before that...

  • I can't do pushups! I get tired very quickly .. What should I do? i feel uncomfortable with my belly

  • @VillaRefugio try doing them on your knees. if you have a friend that can help you, ask them to assist the push off the ground. If you so choose the "push up" as your choice of exercise, you want to attempt multiple times through the day vise doing one session of trying to do them in a 45 min span, or whatever.

  • @TheBongSauce ok thanks :)

  • With your 'Baseline',it would be interesting when you re-do these exercises you put on a Weighted vest equivalent to how much you loss.It would give an idea of how much strength is back, without it being due to different strength to weight ratio.

  • @BXBZ88 you have to put a body suit on, where as the vest wouldn't exactly represent where the weight "was".

  • Lmao, were you still working as a personal trainer while you were getting fat?

  • drew, how much could you do before you gained all that weight?

  • Seriously people...he said it's a BASELINE exercise...calm down! Also, the sound quality isn't bad at all if you use your headphones! =) Good luck Drew! I'm with you on this journey!

  • I was hoping for a full range of motion on those pushups and pullups... : (

  • this man is stronger then my donkey wow

  • yesss this is the vids i like

  • You're getting big with followers, i recommend a lapel wireless mic so sound is consistent and good. This may be just the beginning of all the followers and media so Olympics all the way, right Drew? Also maybe consider taking a little more time and putting camera on tripod with some extra lighting? You want to go into whole new level in your cause and now's the time to get even more pro. Remember us and those who are doing it too. I want to know how they are doing so may they post their results

  • @LietMonty Ya sorry about that. My wife and I are on a pretty tight budget and our phones are what we use to record videos and lately they just all turn out pretty poor. We're going to splurge and buy something with better quality this week so later this week the videos will probably be much better. Trying to do it on a budget! haha

  • @fit2fat2fit Thanks Drew for what you do. That looks pretty good for a phone recorder! Look forward to your future videos.

  • Drew are they making a documentary on you i see you have a professional camer besides the one that's recording you :)

  • @Frankthetank915 The camera crew that was there was 20/20. They are going to follow me through the process to do a short documentary/story about the process.

  • The sound quality is real bad. Otherwise, I'm impressed.

  • @igrazka you could see that there was another microphone and camera filming him, he must have been in news or something (:

too bad the didnt use that footage for his youtube video :(

  • @igrazka Ya sorry about that. My wife and I are on a pretty tight budget and our phones are what we use to record videos and lately they just all turn out pretty poor. We're going to splurge and buy something with better quality this week so later this week the videos will probably be much better. Trying to do it on a budget! haha

  • Was that the hardest workout you've done in 6 months?

  • @superfisto Lifting monster burgers

  • @fit2fat2fit It looks like there is a professional-grade camera recording you on the side...

  • @fit2fat2fit Ask GoPro if they want to support/sponsor you. :) They just released their new HD Hero2 camera.

  • @fit2fat2fit Hey Drew, I don't know what phone you are using but it could be that your wife has her finger over the mic. Some of your other videos I've watched have the same soft/normal sound mid through. I have an iPhone and can attest to inadvertently covering the video lens or muffling the sound with my fingers.

  • @fit2fat2fit stay away from handy cams, buy a dslr that can record video, and get a little boom mic attachment. feel free to contact me if you want some suggestions!

  • @gnutsrocknroll - its obvious you are up here for the wrong reason. Why don't you buy a camera and mail it to him if you want to help....otherwise leave the man alone. He is doing fine.

  • @69johnwc ...what reason is that? he said he was buying a camera, i only offered advice. think before you speak.

  • @fit2fat2fit Maybe you can get Sony to sponsor you, and get a free camera ;-)

  • I was about Drew's weight and height but sedentary for ten years. It took me almost a year to build up to one dead hang pull up...just keep that in mind if you are following Drew, he's got a huge base of muscle underneath ready to blast. Don't let it discourage you, if you get stuck just take a step back, look at how far you've come, then dive back in.

  • @gourdbox YES! And this is not about "look how many I can do starting off and you should do the same". I wanted to chart the progress for me personally and show the improvement in these exercises to have another way to chart my progress. Even if you're starting at "zero" push-ups, pulls up, sit ups, that's OKAY. You'll be able to see 6 months from now the improvements you've made.

  • @fit2fat2fit ITA - thanks for acknowledging this because I couldn't do one push up if my life depended on it. Five months later I am doing somewhat advanced pushups.

    Good luck with your progress!

  • REALY HARD TO LISTEN YOU

  • can you tell me how you feel while doing the exercise sendentario, I was curious

  • I wish the quality of the camera was better

  • @slapto Ya sorry about that. My wife and I are on a pretty tight budget and our phones are what we use to record videos and lately they just all turn out pretty poor. We're going to splurge and buy something with better quality this week so later this week the videos will probably be much better. Trying to do it on a budget! haha

  • @fit2fat2fit I understand completely lol Just do you. I'll watch either way

  • You could have done more reps of each exercise.

  • he has a look like, "WTF did i just do" lol

  • 2:23 fast transformation :D

  • Wow! I know some people who cant even do 10 pushups so that is not too bad. As for the Pullups... you're definitely carrying an extra 705lbs. Now as for leg raises... ya for 6?

... It will only get better from here on out LOL

  • this man is boss

  • should get a new camera

  • this wouldve made a great documentary

  • Thank you for doing this Drew, just remember that most of us who are out of shape didn't have the muscles to start with, so it would be doubtful how many pushups if any.

When you start the exercising, would you give advice to those of us that can't do 20 pushups. I know at least for me I really want to be able to do them, but its frustrating when you can't even start.

  • @socialistauditor do them from your knees, if that's too difficult still raise your hands so you are pressing at a less steep angle.

  • @turdrhinofiend Thank you, for some reason I always thought that doing them from your knees didn't help at all. So I would just do those like normal push ups until I built up the strength to do them normally?

    I appreciate the help.

  • @socialistauditor it does make them easier but it takes a bit of getting used to yeah. If you are really struggling to get more than a few normal pushups the easier variations will be useful until you can progress.

  • @socialistauditor I was underweight, so I can kind of relate. I had to start at only about 3 pushups in a row, and I just did 3 sets of them a day, and every day I'd feel more confident with doing them until I added a pushup or two, and it just goes up from there.

The trick to working out is progress. Everyone wants immediate results, and that's why people take steroids, but it doesn't work that way naturally. It all takes a lot of time, but the feeling of doing more than last time is great.
