Oh, well now that i read the other comments, if the car has a 3500 rpm stall, it may be too much for the limited slip. So it may throw too much power to the tires at once and prevent it from locking posi, a different converter might solve the problem.
Check the front to rear weight balance. Also check the suspension in the rear, they can some times sort get out of line or over to one side and throw off the balance and cause them to lose traction real bad. And a simple posi unit could fix ya right up haha.
I moved the gas tank, battery, and added 200 shot of nitrous in my trunk. The gas tank sits high and has a sump. The battery is as far to the rear as possible. What kind of tires you running? Since these cars are so long, they 60' easy. You might need some torque to keep it going though.
I'd suggest some Nitto 555DRs if your serious or some Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials if you're looking to take care of business~
Thanks. Its funny, the two test 'burnouts' right before went great, but as soon as I turn on the camera... the posi wants to be shy and not stick. It works good at first, but you can really tell when the left tire stops spinning. Maybe I burned up the clutches.

Yeah, I had a 9 inch in the car but broke the driver side axle so I just threw that rear end in there to get driving again.

nope, wrong on both. 400 small block with a stock 350 tranny. But it does have a 3500 stall that I plan on getting rid of.
